They have two levels of stuff and whilst the shop looks tiny from the outside, there is a fair bit of stuff inside. The selection of lederhosen and dirndl was good and the prices were also reasonable. It's a little bit away from the center of town and whilst there are other shops in the town center, the location meant better prices. We ended up buying some things and ended up getting a further reduction due to long weekend sale. Not a bad place to get traditional wear in Garmisch.

They had no lines and I am a firm believer of being waited on ~ in order of completion of shopping. I admit, I did have to leave my husband standing in line while I went to direct people so that there was some order and people from all countries appreciated that help, as did the employees. Why they did not do it themselves, or why there was not a sign posted, I cannot figure out. However, every gift we purchased was treasured.

This is the third time I have visited this shop and you can't just walk in and out without spending money in this place. They have a huge collection of Christmas ornaments from cheap to really expensive hand made stuff and you could spend a good while browsing and shopping. We took some friends here and they basically over spent money in this place and bought a whole bunch of things. As one of them said "I found everything I wanted" as it related to Christmas decorations and there were smiles all around. The staff are friendly and do help when you want it. This is also a shop where they sell a lot of clocks and ship them overseas. The choices of cuckoo clocks is quite good albeit expensive. I will certainly come back here again and again.

She helped me decide on exactly what I wanted to purchase for my souvenir from our Bavarian trip (photo). What a great customer service!! Since it's a souvenir shop, there are myriad of items in this shop from cuckoo clocks, local woodcarving items, Christmas decorations, nutcrackers, local apparel, kitchen utensils and paraphernalia, keychains, magnets, etc. to meet everyone's appetite for shopping. I had called my credit card company prior to going to Europe to let them know so my card could be used with no trouble......well, someone at the credit card company failed me! My card was rejected! I could not reach the credit card company on my cell phone. The lovely woman at the shop called for me on the store phone and assisted me with all the information the credit card company needed! I felt terrible as I was holding up the line, but the women did not make me feel rushed. The worked with me until a solution was reached and I was able to make my purchase!
