My charge for lumber was $19,000 and I have paid my contractor within a week of receiving the bill. I don't understand why they would lien for $23k when my bill was $19k. No one answers my call and I am unable to get a copy of the invoice. Meanwhile I can't complete my mortgage.

I ordered 2 bamboo plants from them. When they arrived they were horribly packed. The plants were…read morebent and broken. Half the dirt had fallen out of the pots leaving the roots exposed and dried out. When I contacted Bamboo World about it they said they would send me new ones right away at no cost, but it is now a month and a half later and they still havent arrived. I have contacted Bamboo World several more times about getting the order sorted out and each time they say they will send me new ones right away and send me the tracking number by the next day. I was told this three times and have now given up hoping they will send me new ones.

Swinstone Granite Shop Use this company at your own risk,…read morethey have extremely bad service. Many years ago we used Swinstones Granite Shop and we were extremely happy with the counter tops and the service we received was amazing. Last year 2025 the Chilliwack progress had their A-list to vote for the best counter top company to which, we voted every day based on our previous encounter with them. We also recommended them to all our family and friends. In the summer of 2025 we decided that we would use them again as we had such a positive experience to replace our counter tops the last time. We contacted Swinstone in July 2025 and they said they would come out to measure the counter tops. The owner Lisa cancelled the appointment multiple times as her husband couldn't come to measure the counters. It was constant text message and email back and forth to get them to measure the counters. Many times we were ghosted by her. The counters were finally ready to install in November 2025, almost 5 months later. The installation crew came out and it took almost 10 hours for the installation to be completed. We asked originally to have the counter top in our laundry room replaced also . When they were putting it in they had a difficult time installing the counter top between two walls and had to wedge it in causing a lot of damage to both opposing walls.(I have pictures). They also riped off the door frame. The final look of the counters and installation from my point of view was mediocre . My wife did email Lisa that that we loved the counter pattern and it brightened the kitchen. Even medioce counters can look good compared to the old ones. I pointed out to my wife all the imperfections and damage. The counter top has a joint in it which was not properly done and the glue between them is cracking off. The silicone between the counter and the back splash is peeling off and will need to be redone. The sink is actually falling down because it was not siliconed properly. (I have pictures) In February 20, 2026 we contacted Lisa to repair the counter top joint as it was cracking. She said that she would send someone on February 27, 2026 to come fix it. No one showed up, we have been emailing her multiple times in the past 6 months to get the repairs with no results. She email us in August that she was short handed and would get to it in the future. But they are still accepting new orders and clients. I should be at the top of the list as we have waited over 6 months. The whole incident has been an awful nightmare. I will never use this company again and we will make sure to tell everyone to stay away from this company. Update: They finally came in to repair the counters, 7 months later after I posted a BBB compliant.
