If you are looking for the perfect balanced, perfectly flavored ice cream and reasonably priced when they probably could charge more. You may want to stop in at the Bow Tie Creamery in Ogden. We saw this place on Instagram and it was very much worth the trip. If you live in Ogden or Layton, take your family here for ice cream. The also have Gelato flavors as well. I have 4 daughters who are ice cream fanatics and this is their favorite place, you won't regret it and you might even see us there because we will be back. Your missing out if you pass it up. Best Ice Cream i have ever had. Please try their Raspberry Sour Cream and Key Lime Pie ice cream, they are to die for!

    Ice cream flight!

What a gem! We dropped by when we were in town because we saw the ice cream flights and loved the idea. We were able to taste several of the flavors and tried a bunch of recommendations from the kind woman behind the counter. She told us that the raspberry sour cream was her very first flavor at the shop, so we had to try it! I ended up ordering a flight with the tahini chocolate chip cookie dough (a nutty, creamy twist on a classic), raspberry sour cream (fruity, creamy, and delicious), lemon ice (tart and refreshing, like frozen lemonade), and moon pie (nostalgic yet unique). They were all perfect for a hot summer day! The shop was clean, neat and really cute! Will drop by again if I'm ever in town :)

Their ice-cream is beautiful. Everything is made in house and it tastes fantastic. The store is so cute inside and it's such a nice place to relax for a treat. The owners are so kind and a must stop if you are in the Ogden area!

I have heard so many great things about Bow Tie Creamery so I was excited to try it today. It was my first time going along with my kids and I was grateful the lady helping us was really patient! It took me a bit to decide which flavors I wanted and she let me try the samples I wanted to. I ended up getting Key Lime Pie and Speculoos S'mores. Both were delicious! My kids loved the vanilla custard. It was so thick and creamy. Our only complaint is we needed to use the restroom before our long drive home and the toilet was gross so my kids wouldn't use it so we needed to go somewhere else. But I let the lady there know and she went to take care of it right away so maybe they are usually better about cleaning the bathrooms.

One of Utah's hidden treasure ice cream joints!!! Bow Tie needs to be more well-known. A few we tried and loved: S'mores--graham ice cream, chocolate chunks, marshmallow swirl and biscoff cookies (THAT'S the kicker!) Dark Chocolate Gelato--deep smooth cocoa Nutella--a pure and sweet take on our beloved spread. No mixins, Just nutella love. Mint Chip--speckled chocolate chips through a real mint flavor base. Cookies n' Cream--one of the BEST I've tasted!!! It is an umptious, well-executed classic! Soft Oreos throughout silky ice cream. ***Tip: get this flavor!*** They make their own waffle cones and brioche ice cream sandwiches (more on that soon!) And they come out with awesome flavor combinations each month, like Gingerbread Feta in October and Mojito in March (right now!).

Raspberry sour cream and chai tea ice cream

I have never had a bad flavor here! I love the simple decor and the sweet people who work here. The ice cream is very creamy and flavorful. I can't stand to eat off of wooden spoons, which is what they have here, so I decided to try their waffle cone and I am so glad I did. It is more fragile than an average waffle cone, but that just makes it the best to eat with your ice cream! The flavors I got this time were the raspberry sour cream and the chai tea. They were both great but if I had to choose one it would be the chai tea.

Not a million choices of ice cream but it is very good! Little seating area. Service was good with younger high-school students.

There are an abundance of flavors to choose from which got overwhelming but these employees were very helpful when it came to any questions I had. I usually never finish my ice cream but it was so creamy that my will power was gone. I got the butterscotch flavored ice cream with toffee bits which is called butter bricken. (I think?) Great customer service, clean ice cream parlor, and great location with a beautiful view to enjoy while you indulge in your sweet treat.

I said ok, I would like two scoops in the sugar cone. I went to the checkout and showed the coupon and was told mine didn't qualify since I got two scoops in the same cone... I asked if she would just give me another cone and ring up two single scoops, she said no. I asked if I could add another single scoop cone at that time, she said sorry but no. Whatever if I misunderstood the coupon that's on me, but why not tell me that I wouldn't be able to use it if i get two scoops in the same cone while I'm doing my order? You know I want to use the coupon and you know what I'm ordering, so why not inform me while I'm ordering? Why was it impossible to be accommodating at all? Why can't you just say I got two singles and let me use the coupon? At the end of the day the ice cream was good, but but not good enough to make up for the lack of service.

It's a small little place that shares an entrance with a restaurant. They do have a handful of tables available to eat in, or they do take out as well. They have Hispanic music videos playing on a tv and the music coming through the speakers. The people working there were so kind and helpful. They helped us completely customize our desserts, and made us white girls feel completely welcome and not out of place at all. It was a fun, bright, inviting place! They have a wide variety of sweet and savory snacks, that all look addictively delicious. We were specifically looking for dessert and were tempted by SO many tasty options. We all decided on a variation of an ice cream filled concha. Is this a common Hispanic thing? I have never seen it before, not even on my trips to Mexico, but it is GENIUS!!! Concha's, if you don't know, are kind of like a Mexican donut/pastry. It's essentially a non sweet roll with chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla icing in the design of a shell on top. It's a perfect balance of sweet and savory. So imagine that tasty roll filled with ice cream, Nutella, and fruit! Mind blown right?! The concha had chocolate icing, I chose marzipan ice cream (it's not a Scandinavian almond marzipan, but a Hispanic peanut marzipan that's similar to a candy), Nutella, and strawberries on top. The portions were huge and with tax it only cost $7. Listen, I live in Draper and would GLADLY travel to Ogden to get this again! And as much as I'm obsessed with the ice cream concha, I also REALLY want to try some of the savory snacks too! So maybe I'll do a savory snack followed by a sweet snack next time. Anyway, it's a little hole in the wall that is COMPLETELY worth trying!!!! You need ice cream concha's in your life, trust me!
