I couldn't have been more impressed with the service I received. I was in the final negotiations of buying an older home with cast-iron plumbing and needed a plumbing service with the video technology available to inspect the pipes under the house for potential deterioration, blockage, and damage. Most plumbing companies charge "an arm & a leg" for this service, but I found Bow Tie Plumbing to be very reasonably priced. Additionally, they inspected the rest of the home for no additional charge. However, what impressed me the most about this company is their customer service. I spoke with the owner, Travis, on the phone, and he was so personable to speak to and so accommodating with my schedule and my situation. His onsite technician Dustin was also amazing. He thoroughly inspected everything, and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. In the end, this company saved me from making a horrible mistake that would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars by identifying some severe blockages that the regular home inspection wasn't able to catch. Travis responded almost instantly to my request for a quote, came out within a few hours, took a thorough look at my house, listened carefully to what I was asking for, and asked a lot of good questions to make sure we were on the same page. He gave me a good quote on replacing my gas tank water heater with a gas tankless water heater. He also gave me a suprisingly high quote for repiping my old house. I went ahead and hired him to replace the water heater, and was amazed by the quality of his work. He kept me informed throughout the entire process. Whenever he stumbled on something that might cost more but would be better for the long term health of my house, he always worked out a fair deal. WOW! An angel came to our rescue. Toilets wouldn't flush, sink and shower just gurgled and bubbled. We called our normal company and they said to pour water down a drain in the attic. Nope. The next company we called said 9 days. YIKES! I need to use the bathroom now. Then, an angel answered and asked if tomorrow would be good. YES, I say YES. Then beyond all expectations and, really, belief, he asked if maybe he could come out today?!?!? HECK YEAH! 2 ish hours later Travis came out, and in one short hour we can flush again. Updating my review to say how phenomenal Bow Toe Plumbing is, because we had to call them out again for a leak in a different area and they were quick to come out and check it. Dustin was as amazing as he was the first time! He located the source of the leak and, even though it was caused by the AC and not the plumbing, he was able to inform us of the problem he found, and provide recommendations since it was something that wasn't a plumbing issue. We have a future project coming up that will require significant plumbing work and he was kind enough to listen and offer guidance on how to proceed and what would have to happen to ensure our plumbing would be okay. Our sewer drain stopped up backing up into master bath shower and guest bathroom toilet started leaking around base all at the same time. when shutting off water supply to toilet, the hand valve started leaking. This was Sunday evening as we were about to leave for the Cowboys football game. Got flow stopped so we could go to the game. Started calling plumbers first thing Monday morning. My water heater was extremely old and I knew I needed to replace it before it became an issue. I messaged Bow Tie to come out for a quote and Travis was extremely responsive and planned to come out the very next day. I spotted this company while commuting to work and took a pic of their company vehicle because we had a leak in our kitchen; the plumber I called kept giving me the run around and never showed up.
