Now known as Eastside Academy of Dog Grooming, new owner Katherine, has taken on former and new clients, while educating and challenging her students to groom above and beyond. Taking her students to continuing education seminars, to enhance the entire grooming experience; She personally has over a decade of experience, and still places a high value on the overall health of the client, comfort of the client and full education of the grooming experience to her students.
Adding her own style to the place, with new designs such as a long dog sculpture bench piece, a library filled with dog education books, magazines, to a wall decorated with grooming certifications, special licenses and other outstanding achievements.
Certified Pet CPR, First Aid Instructor, Certified Canine Esthetician, are just a few of her many accomplishments that are displayed on the wall of accomplishments.
Books of canine breeds, health, training, grooming, education, medical and holistic care are among the growing library.
And with Katherine's Professional Pet Grooming Promise, customers can just see, feel, know, trust and experience just how much of a true canine lover, total health grooming enthusiast, continuing education skills believer and true innovator in the field, Katherine and her students strives to be.

My dog is a special needs dog. So when I learned of Judy's retirement, I was nervous to say the least. However, from the moment I first met Katherine, she gave me peace of mind, assured me of her qualifications, and together we came up with the best plan to groom my furbaby. With my permission, the owner also allowed my dog to be a learning tool for students. I waited around for a minute while I heard her talk about the importance of comforting the pet, listening to its body language and pain cues, talking to the pet to offer reassurance, and most importantly to be gentle and aware. I left happy knowing just how cared for my furbaby was.
Later I received a call, saying my dog was all done. I headed in and could not believe my eyes. My furry baby was stylish, healthy and kissing all the students. That speaks volumes!!! I was so happy with the grooming job and how happy and comfortable my pet was. Now my furbaby loves to see all her friends at least once a month, and at decent pricing too.
