Parking can be difficult the station charges are high and you can seldom find a parking space in the street nearby. The best way is to park at the top of town and walk down the pedestrianised street to the bottom and cross the main road. All the expected post office services are available including the issuing of car tax discs and you can buy packaging for parcels, various small travel accessories, and greetings cards, too. There's never really a queuing problem, even at busy times as there's enough staff to keep the queues flowing nicely. There's a small selection of stationery and packaging products as well as a few gifts and books available to purchase and a stamp machine so you don't need to queue if you only require 1st or 2nd class stamps. There's 2 entrances to the post office, one of which is designed for wheel chair users.

The post office has two entrances one of which is a ramp for wheel chair access. The post office has a small selection of packaging products on sale as well as cards and some stationary products. There is a stamp machine, which means you dont need to queue if you only want stamps. The only problem is the staff can be quite pushy and try to make you buy the various insurances and credit cards which they have on offer.

This is one of the smaller Post Office, located inside a newsagents. It is not my local though I do…read morepop in from time to time when I am in the area. Altogether there are three counters, though usually only one person serving unless it is a busy day (e.g. Monday). There are often queues because of this, though I have never waited more than 15-minutes to be served. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, and do not do the annoying cross-selling of their products so much as in some other Post Offfices I have been to. Overall this is a nice little Post Office. I just hope that it is not targeted for closing down as there is not another within the area so it would be a shame for the local people to lose it.
