I've also found staff here to be good at giving advice, for example instructions on how to install new parts myself. One time I may have been sold the wrong part, but when it failed they refunded me no problem, even though I was slightly over the guarantee by that time. So, not always the cheapest, but dependable.

The staff was extremely helpful and was able to point me in the right direction for a data SIM card plus a top up on a dumb phone I'm borrowing. After I purchased the card the sales rep was able to do what was needed so I'd have access to the inter-webs. Now I'm no longer carrying a paperweight! Yay!!!

Funnily enough, this movie scene is the first that comes to people's minds, when I tell them that I'm taking pottery lessons. Truth is: I've had taken pottery classes back at university and I loved it so much, that I wanted to more of it now. And a few weeks ago, I was walking by this pottery store in my neighbourhood and I saw some people hinging over the wheels and my fingers began to tingle. I went inside and inquired if they would take on pupils as well. One of the potters - Gregory - was very kind and he told me that while he has no free space at this time, he has last-minute cancellations occasionally and he would call me then. And that was the case last week...and so on Tuesday evening I went to Dartmouth Park Pottery and got my hands dirty. And I have to say, I loved every minute of it: we started off with wedging the clay so that it would be more supple and better to work with. Afterwards, it was on to the wheel and while it took my brain some time to remember how to embrace the clay with my hands, I eventually got the hang of it and I was test-throwing various cylindrical objects...only to have them cut up afterwards and inspected for evenness in thickness. There was one other pupil with me in the class and so it is quite a hands-on teaching experience. I really can recommend it and I'm already looking forward to the next time someone cancels and I can come to another pottery class.

There is a good price range for the different themes and I am sure everyone can find something suitable in there. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I told him I'm replacing a faulty item, and my actual words were "are you joing?" he then said he'll refund it and I should go home and rebook online then return for the new one. The manager wasn't present so I had no choice but to do it. To make things worse, I wrote to PC World customer service to complain about their ridiculous replacement policy and after a week "Ian Turner PCWorld Team" replied with a copy and paste of the FAQ which states and branch will "happily refund or replace" - no point even arguing because they emailed me from a "no-reply" email address. I don't know where else to complain so I'm making it my mission to paste these honest reviews everywhere. If this happens to you, stand in the store and STAMP your feet until they are reasonable - I wish I wasn't so intimidated and had done the same thing.

Their biscuit collections are also very good and the cookies are definatly better quality than what you would get from your local supermarket. Marks and Spencers don't really have many sales but then again everyone knows the quality so will always pay the asking price all year round.

They didn't call me and the picture wasn't ready on time. The picture itself was badly framed and they'd managed to cover too much of the picture with the mount, poor quality. I was polite when I picked up the picture and didn't mention any of this but judging by the dirty look I got from the owner on the way out when I happened to glance back combined with the poor service and a previous instance where I visited the shop to get a quote and was seemingly mocked by their staff they don't want people who aren't white in their shop. They should have a 'whites only' sign above the door. Avoid at all costs.
