A Beautiful baseball park at the state line of the twin cities located just outside of the entrance to the city park. Bluefield West Virginia meets Bluefield Virginia. The baseball park is a local favorite pastime. It is the home field of the Bluefield Blue Jays minor league baseball team. It was renovated back in 1975 and it seats approximately 3000 fans. The stadium was built in 1939 during the Great Depression and was rebuilt in 1975 after a fire. The seats were brought in from California. A local hometown favorite place to go this stadium brings many memories back for me watching the former team Bluefield Orioles play. Back in the day the team was the minor league for the Baltimore Orioles . Today it's the home of the Bluefield Blue jays. read more
