I was set to use the 24/7 rental service, however, there was no key, nothing for me to actually get. I had to drive all the way from Tampa, Florida due to relocation of Hurricane Michael and I have to drive all the way to Panama City to pack my things. The nearest uhaul available was in Defuniak Springs. So I got there and like I said nothing was set up right. I called the customer service to notify them of the situation and they told me there is a place in Bonifay, Florida (504 W Hwy 90) at Century Supply that had a truck available. Well that's another hour drive to take to pick up an uhaul. Nobody has offered a partial refund only extra mileage on the U-Haul. I am nowhere at the Bonifay location and I am still waiting for my newly scheduled 2 pm reservation. I will never use U-Haul again. This one time experience has been a nightmare! And I still have to drive back to Panama City to pack and move. Thank you U-Haul for making this experience harder than it should be. And now Wayne (a old white man) at Century Supply got mad cursed at me several of times and said he was trying to help me out when I told him how unprofessional he was because he stated that "he was not waiting on me all day to speak to U-Haul on the phone" to fix what he messed up. Because the contract was already set for 107 dollars but he charged my card 290 dollars for mileage and the truck rental. He threw the contract and keys to the truck in the shop and locked the door and was leaving and refusing me service because I did not let him speak to me any kind of way and because hec stated multiple of times that he wasn't going to wait on me nor U-Haul. When I finally spoke to Deborah on the phone (a representative) she confirmed he did mess up the contract and the agreement. Not to mention he got in my face screaming and yelling about how he doesn't have to help me. He is very unprofessional and I will never deal with U-Haul again a day in my life. Also, when I got in the truck to leave, reminding Wayne that he will not speak to me that way, I got in the wrong truck. Mind you I've never rented from U-Haul before, he yelled at me "that's the wrong f*cking truck" and charged at me while calling me stupid and yelling at me more. I've never been treated this way by a company who is supposedly about customer service!

I am that guy who hunts for the perfect tool box for his Swiss Army Knife and Screwdriver, who dreams of working in the garage on a project so diabolically engineered that it only requires a Swiss Army knife and a screwdriver to take it apart. If society ever breaks down I hope I will know how to create a preppers kingdom defended by boobytraps. In any hardware store I can be seen searching for boobytrap kits traps that can be easily assembled with a spokeshave and an awl. I purchased a collapsible water hose from Ace about 90 days ago. It developed a hole, and when I…read moretook it back for credit and purchase of a different hose, I was told there was a 30 day window and I needed to contact the hose manufacturer. My responsibility? Ace sold it, they should honor it. Really lousy service. I'll not go back and spend money with Ace. I'm giving a star, but none is earned.
