There's a lunch menu with cheaper prices, but also a full dinner menu if you'd prefer that. I ordered the charsiu pork and was REALLY happy with it. The pork was a bit on the fattier side, but the flavoring was spot on. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the side dipping sweet soy sauce was amazing. The meal came with a fried egg and some bok choi. I was in heaven! This is some of the best charsiu I've had for a long time. My other two friends both ordered noodles - there were some flavors they felt were lacking. The mini shrimp commonly used for flavoring (we call it xia mi in Mandarin - but they do look a little freaky and could scare people unfamiliar with it away) was a different type so it just lacked a little bit of additional oomph. I do have to say, both noodle dishes (Mee Siam & Char Koay Teow) tasted extremely healthy and used fresh ingredients - but that could have been the part that was lacking. I think the really oily and flavorful street food feel was what was missing. But don't get me wrong, both noodle dishes were yum! Just missing a few key things to make it authentic Asian street food.

I have ordered here many times over the last couple of years, and have always been satisfied with…read morethe food. Occasionally there would be an issue with the order, but had no major issues. 3 weeks ago I ordered food for myself, my wife and my mother. One of the main meals was left out. I called up and was told that they were very sorry and that they would give me 20% off my next order and would send out the missing item asap. I was satisfied with this resolution. However, I contacted them tonight to make an order. I spoke with Andrea who told me that the 20% discount was not on the system and that there was nothing she could do. She asked me when the previous order was and when I told her she scoffed saying that it was nearly a month ago. (How often do people usually order take-aways!!) I explained that I was not given a time frame within which to use the discount. She still insisted that it was tough luck and that I would have to pay full price. After a few minutes going back and forth she asked me to wait a minute for her to make a phone call. (There was no manager present, I had already inquired). When she came back to me (I was not waiting long), she told me that she has phoned the OWNER and that I would NOT be getting the 20% discount. You would think the least they could do would be to check the previous order to see if there was an issue. Then confirm that no order has been placed to the same address in the mean time in which the discount could have been used. This is laziness at best and contempt for your customers at worst. I will certainly not be ordering from this establishment again.

Workers from the nearby offices relax within the jocular interior alongside viewers-of-the-gallery, reveling in the contemporary surroundings made up of buoyant wooden floors and stylish white walls, all of which come together to create a modish environment that nicely compliments the creative milieu of the overall gallery in which to enjoy your tea or lunch break. Tea, coffee, a choice of cakes, quiches, tasty antipasta as well as salads are all on offer, all the selection revealed having been written up in chalk on the blackboard above the cashier counter. This is certainly a laudable place for lunch, and glasses of wine are sold to further your enjoyment. These, together with the actuality that it is the official eatery of an illustrious gallery all affix the café with much significance. However, being fundamentally located in the basement it does feel a smidgen poky and boxed in and whilst the food is sufficient, it is not startling.

The wall fountain was broken, obviously a long time ago and remains a stagnant mess, neglected. This is such a pity as this museum is fabulous, just fabulous. It's a must-see. . This does a disservice to one of Dublin's true treasures. The High Lane is packed with masterpieces and marvels, this restaurant brings it down - though it has a hip and delightful decor- it is badly run, and the wall fountain and outside interior garden has to be repaitred and maintained. Can we ditch the ugly "farmer" picket fence that surrounds what should be a lovely pond and water feature???
