My sister reserved a room for us through a 3rd party platform only to be contacted by Laura to say we're on the "do not rent list". We've never been to Bowman, ND as this was my first trip to North Dakota. My husband then reserved the room under his name directly through Bowman Lodges website. For some reason, his card declined, so he called the property and Laura confirmed our reservation and said we could just pay upon arrival. A few minutes later, someone ran our card again and it went through. 4 minutes after that, Laura called and told my husband that he's also on the "do not rent to list" My husband has also never been to North Dakota. The fact that they charged us only to inform us a few minutes later they were refusing to rent us a room, smells like fraud to me. After we got to town, my husband went inside the hotel to ask for his money back and the front desk clerk called the police on him! Not sure what shenanigans this place is up to, but, probably best to watch for fraudulent charges from here. read more

This spot was very nice and better than literally everything we found even close to the area. We've been doing our trip day by day and came up from Keystone so we were looking last minute and there was nothing in so many parts of SD and ND, and if there was, the places were gross. Not Bowman Lodge. It's clean and has signs all over mentioning sanitizing for covid. The service is very friendly, and the room was spacious and nice. The lodge is pretty and there's a free continental breakfast. If you're on your way to Medora/Theodore Roosevelt National Park and not going to make it all the way, this is a great spot to rest for the night. read more

The Bowman Lodge and Convention Center in Bowman, North Dakota is AWESOME! The friendly staff, fantastic amenities, and all the comforts of a luxury home make this place a must stop if you are lucky enough to be in the area. They offer everything travelers LOVE and they do it with excellence. They have a delicious restaurant attached to the main lobby called Grazer's, which you will want to stop by just to enjoy a meal, if you cannot stay overnight. They have wonderful coffee and so many enticing complimentary breakfast options with something for everyone to enjoy. They also have a full gym, a swimming pool and hot tub, a game room, and their main lobby feels like a luxurious living room, full of favorite chairs and comfy couches. Yes they have coin operated guest laundry with commercial size loads! They really have everything you need and lots of what you want! They have huge rooms for various conventions, conferences, or anything you may need them for available as well. I did not use that service, but if I needed too, this is the place to host an event! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and so quiet for all of us who love a good rest. They have soft towels and soaker tubs that will help you relax after hours on the road. This is paradise and luxury at competitive prices, so definitely stay here! You will be so glad you chose the Bowman Lodge! read more

We hosted our class reunion there and weren't ever given any information about the costs of catered meals other than the per plate price. What a shock to find out we were charged a gratuity for basically nothing. We could have put lunch meat on a plate and threw away our own plates. I will go elsewhere and use another caterer for the next event. And, now to find out that classmates that had made their reservation months in advance, called several times to confirm, only to be told they had to get out because the room was booked to someone else. I know they won't be back. If Bowman Lodge and "Convention" center continues these practices they won't have to wonder where their business went. Instead of being welcoming and encouraging they are doing the opposite. read more

I loved this place! I'm sorry we were only passing through and had one night to spend. We were in the deluxe king, a very large room with sofa and dining table. The bathroom had tons of counter space. The room was clean and bright. The complimentary breakfast was the same as other places, but the attendant was friendly and I was thrilled that the TV aired The Weather Channel instead of blaring fake news CNN like most hotels do. It's probably one of the better hotels in the area. The rooms are actually pretty nice. The hotel is well-maintained. There is a pool that's nice. Front Desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is your typical breakfast processed scrambled eggs, oatmeal but nice eating area. If located off the main street and easy to find. This hotel does offer an excellent workout room. If you don't use this hotel you get things like super eight but there's not many brand names out there so I would recommend this one over the other choices that it was pretty comfortable for a non national branded hotel. read more

Friendly check in; we had a large king size bed room it was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable! It was just a quick stop headed to Sturgis but great place for a nights rest! read more

We needed a room in a pinch on our last hunting trip to Bowman and even though we heard the hotel was sold out, the general manager was able to find us a room for both nights! All of the staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Grazers also had a good beer selection and very good burgers. Looking forward to our next trip here! read more

Large room. Proper onsite gym with many weight machines and a separate large room for yoga or cross fit training. Nice staff. Dogs allowed. Burgers in the onsite restaurant were pretty good. read more
