After being referred to Dr. Parnell in April 2024, due to multiple Neurological conditions,…read moreseizures, sleep disorder, neuropathy, amnesia, muscle weakness, and more, she said my conditions did not meet her level of expertise and advised I see a nurse practitioner. I disagreed. After a three-month wait, in July 2024, the Nurse Practitioner decided my case was too complex and scheduled me for another three-month wait. My hour-long appointment in September 2024 was cut to 20 minutes without notice, and no physical exam was performed. To my surprise, Dr. Parnell claimed she did a complete physical exam and questionnaire in twenty minutes, changed my medication, and only discussed half of my issues. Afterward, she directed her nurse to schedule an appointment six months from now. I messaged her to ask that some items mistakenly entered be corrected. Instead of reviewing my history to see that I was accurate, she wrote me back stating she could no longer be my doctor because I had too many issues. In my chart, she wrote that I was being released because I had severed what a normal doctor/patient relationship was. Unfortunately, many of the answers she filled in were incorrect, and I didn't want that reflected on my record, regardless of whether she was my doctor and asked to make the changes. I have copies of the messages exchanged through the patient portal as well as the correspondence related to my requests for corrections. I filed an online grievance, but never received a reply. I then sent a letter of grievance, and they chose Dr. Parnell as the representative to hear my complaints, which I found absurd. But I stated the issues, and she twisted my words. I stated that I did not agree with anything she wrote. She promised I would get a chance to review it before she revised her notes. The next day, she published her notes without changing anything and stated that I had agreed with every statement she wrote. I have retained a copy of her published notes and my letter disputing her statements. I attempted to contact the Privacy Officer but was hung up on several times and, on other occasions, diverted to the Marketing Director, Sarah, who refused to allow me to speak with the PRIVACY OFFICER. After four attempts, Sarah finally allowed me to talk if she were present and spoke for her. Dr. Price had by now added that I was banned from all Neuroscience facilities everywhere. I asked Sarah why. Because we need to protect Doctors from you, because you're a liar, was Sarah's reply. I then wrote a letter to Dr. Price at NSG with suggestions on how we could resolve this in a civil manner, without resorting to the courts or government agencies. Dr. Parnell's ban from NSG was inappropriate, and retribution cannot be given out while a grievance is in process. He chose not to reply, and Sarah had told me never, ever to call NSG again. I have since completed the necessary paperwork to contact: 1. Secretary of the Department of Health & Human Services; 2. The Medical Board of Examiners; 3. The Medicare Peer Review Organization / BFCC‑QIO; 4. The Wisconsin Division of Quality Assurance; and 5. The HIPAA‑enforcement Authority within HHS (Office for Civil Rights). It ran exactly as expected, our insurance was given a pre authorization and we paid what was expected as our portion. Awesome, this was like every other dental procedure we have ever had (7 kids, already been through 2 sets of wisdom tooth extractions). They did this or the extraction, a $700 procedure, we paid our portion and it was good. Fast forward almost a year later it was time for the implantation portion. Didn't think anything of it, we had a scan for the procedure a few months before the actual surgery, we were not told anything about billing, we assumed it was going to be handled like the 1st surgery. Boy were we wrong, when we got the office we were required to pay for the procedure IN FULL!! Even though we have dental insurance, not only do we have dental insurance but it's one of the best plans available! I actually called my insurance while I was waiting and was told that even they recommend submitting a preauthorization so there are no surprises, obviously this office just wants to take the money, collect interest on it until they have to refund it. Even the insurance company was as thrown by this shady business practice as I was. Needless to say with 4 girls coming up needing their wisdom teeth taken out, I can guarantee where we will NOT be coming!

They accepted my call and Dr. Zuck agreed to see me that afternoon. He and his nurse(I believe Becky) were sensitive to my problem and pain and after respectful discussion, Dr. Zuck agreed to remove 2 teeth that same afternoon. I can only say that they were both sensitive and professionally respectful to my pain and situation. The follow-up after my surgery was top notch and they were not in a hurry. The discussion following surgery, to make sure I was comfortable, helped me alot. With this in mind, I cannot say enough to recommend them and their clinic to anyone in need of oral surgery.
