I do NOT recommend Boyd Law based on my experience. I hired the firm while dealing with significant stress and was relying on them for clear legal guidance. Instead, my attorney (Joshua Fabian) gave me legal advice that turned out to be incorrect, which resulted in over a year of continued billing (more than $10,000) without ANY benefit or resolution to my case. What was most concerning was the lack of accountability. After recognizing that my case had not progressed, I repeatedly asked--over three months--to speak with someone in management to review the handling of my case and to discuss partial refund options. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, I have received NO response. When you hire an attorney, especially during a vulnerable time, trust and communication are essential. Unfortunately, that is NOT what Boyd law provides, they take advantage of you when you are in need. I would urge others to be very cautious before engaging this firm. Set a 1:30 consultation phone call appointment. I changed my schedule to speak with Karie Boyd, because my situation was fairly urgent. No call at 1:30. It came at 1:50. But it wasn't Ms. Boyd. It was her apologetic assistant, telling me Ms. Boyd had a meeting that ran long, and would be calling me at 2pm. No call at 2pm. In fact, no call at all. Just completely blew it off. Maybe you'll do better. Maybe you'll discover she's a decent lawyer. She may very well be. But I have no interest in finding out. read more

As an unemployed single parent with a son away at college and being solely financially responsible parent, I chose to use the last of my funds to have my child support order modified to assist me during my unemployment time. Having explained in great detail how devious my ex is and that he will go through any lengths to hide his income, BOYD LAW told me that they could help. Trusting in them I maxed out my only credit card and hired them. The office made numerous mistakes on drafts, I had to correct every single revision I was given to review, they depleted the original retainer and kept charging and charging and charging; I had to borrow money to be able to pay them. $9,000.00+ and a year later, mind you it was a simple child support order modification, I'm in court. To my horror, the attorney, Matt Caldwell, completely mishandled my file, I walked away without the existing order being modified and was FORCED to sit there the entire day until this day I don't know why, then charged for the entire day of his time. I was unemployed for almost a year which was most of the time I was waiting on BOYD LAW to get me a court date; and they/he did absolutely nothing for me; I was absolutely desperate!!! I wrote a very detailed letter to the owner of the law firm expressing my concern and didn't receive as much as a courtesy acknowledgement to my email.
