When we got there and were hooking up a member of the staff drove by our site and called us by name and asked if we were doing ok. Great service! Very nice large pool. It's open 9:30a-9:30p. They have a volleyball net and basketball hoop so you can play in the pool. Park is pretty large. There is a pond out back where you can go fishing. They have cabins available and a few have good sized decks that overlook the pond. Nice tent area with covered picnic tables and electrical outlet. Would like to have seen grills at each site. Cabins and tent sites seem to have them, but RVers like to BBQ, too. Also some recycling bins would be good. We pulled in after dark and the entrance was not very well lit and there were a lot of cars due to an event in the Rec Center so it was hard to see where we were supposed to park to check in. It is a very scenic place with a nice pool and a pond if you like to fish or just watch the moon rise. We are tent campers, and were happy to see that there was some shelter from the hot Texas sun along with close water and power. We booked in advance and we looked forward to our one night stay in Caddo Mills, but when it was time to leave, we wish we could have stayed several days longer.

They also have cabins you can rent out; some thing my wife and I discussed for the future. It was very quiet and covered in a lot of trees and seemed like a very nice place to camp. This trip I stayed the night Saturday during the Fast Life Garage Campout and it was a lot of fun. There were two food trucks on site and both were extremely tasty. I am a Combat Veteran still serving so I was able to check out the free veteran camping area. I found a great spot under one of the smaller trees, which was perfect! I used the coed shower trailer and it was air conditioned and nice to have being I was tent camping. There are mens showers located somewhere else on the property but I didn't bother looking for them because this shower trailer was closest to me. The water was hot and there were also sinks with mirrors. The lounge area at the clubhouse is beautiful at night. I sat there for about a half hour after the festivities ended Saturday night enjoying the ambiance and finishing my beverage before hitting the showers. It is very relaxing. The campground is great. It has everything you really would want to do. I want to return with my Girlfriend to possibly rent the treehouse on the river, do some kayaking, and ride the local area. Hopefully do 4 days there. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won't be disappointed. If I am able too I will be returning next year for the Fast Life Campout and if I'm lucky I'll get to return again this year.
