Just spent a long weekend here with the extended family. Couldn't have been happier with the cabin, location, and amenities provided. It was very clean and maintained. You bring your own food, drinks, etc to prepare while there, but they provide towels, toiletries, sheets, etc like a normal hotel. One thing to remember, you are in a remote area so WIFI and cellular service can be hit or miss sometimes but that's expected. Lastly, I will note we did not have any interactions with the customer service most negative reviews describe because we didn't need anything while we were away. My husband booked our 40 year anniversary trip for a surprise weekend get away and paid close to $1,000.00. He purchased the insurance tied to the booking just in case something came up and we needed to cancel. Unfortunately, I had complications from surgery that appeared after my husband booked the cabin. My doctor advised not to travel and wrote a letter as well as completed all the forms required by the insurance company. Although the insurance company, associated with Beavers Bend Luxury Cabin Rentals (beaversbendcabins4rent.com) received every single form they requested, signed and advised by my surgeon, they found a frivolous "out" to not refund our money. We contacted Nikki-the owner with numerous phone calls, messages, and emails asking if we could rebook for a later time, even during off season. Serenity lodge was an amazing getaway for my family and me. Savannah was very helpful in getting us checked in and was available during our stay in the event we needed anything. We didn't need much since the cabin was fully stocked with any and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin itself was beautiful. My teens enjoyed all the outdoor games and the jacuzzi. My infant son loved the toys and high chair. My husband and I enjoyed our quality time. Definitely will be booking again but for a longer stay! read more

I want to state that this review is not about the cabin that we rented, it is 100% referring to the level of customer service (or lack thereof) that we received from the rental company. We recently rented the Famous in a Small Town cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful and is well appointed. The owners of it should be proud of their home and investment. All of these problems, I realize, are relatively minor and are what you would consider "first world problems." I just want to say that when you rent a "luxury" cabin, you expect at least a little help when you have issues no matter how small the problems may be. When we checked in, it really seemed like the bedroom that we were in may not have been cleaned well at all. The sheets looked dirty and there were several items on the floor that made it seem as though no one had swept the floor, let alone clean the tile. I can live with these things, but don't feel like I should have to in a rental. The biggest problem came when the remote to the ceiling fan was missing. The fan can not be operated without a remote. When we texted and called about the missing remote we were told that the remote for the ceiling fan in the living room would operate it. When we replied that there was no ceiling fan in the living room (and we had tried every other remote in the house) we heard nothing back...for the remaining 5 days we were there. We finally gave up trying to contact the rental agency. I can only be disappointed so many times. In a day where customer service is becoming more and more rare, this company lived up (or really down) to the standard. The cabins are beautiful and if they happen to all be in working order when you get there, you will have a great visit. Just don't expect any helpful response if everything isn't perfect. read more

I booked it 10 months ago. Your POLICY states that you will process the final dues 14 days prior. I have a screen shot of that in case you change it while this is going on. Your first reactions to me talking was to continuously cut me off and not let me finish. Even when I asked you to let me finish you kept cutting me off. You know nothing of good customer service. You also state you can't see what your system is doing which is I'm sure just one of many lies. My brother, who is a hard working, honest and decent man (something your organization struggles with) talked to the family there at the majestic and that family (who now you're saying is probably lying too) and they said they booked that place over 3 months ago. SO....if an auto payment is suppose to be placed 14 days prior to a trip, how could your company book that cabin to someone else 3 months ago? Everyone is lying but you? All you or Melinda had to do, was be decent and say you messed up. You double booked. Your system missed something, but no. At no point, could you take any blame. Shame on you. I was glad to hear that you weren't the person I talked to on Friday, because I thought as the owner of the organization, you'd hear us out and be SOMEWHAT APOLOGETIC. We booked and put down a down payment in January 2019 (not 3 years ago like you texted me.) This email string shows the original confirmation email from your organization. 2. Your website says 14 days prior the final payment will go through with the card on file 3. On the day of my trip I went to look for the cabin information that was suppose to be sent. (here is where i have some blame. I didn't look for the email 14 days ago. I just assumed in my hundres of emails that i had it. ) That's my fault. See how easy that is? Accepting responsibility for things isn't that hard and could alleviate so much. 4. When I couldn't find the information, I called and spoke to Melinda. She told me it was my fault and when the payment didnt go through 14 days prior we lost the cabin and it got rebooked for another family. 5. She then offered to find me another cabin with a different company and will transfer our deposit (which is nonrefundable) though I was mad, I calmed down here because I thought this was my fault and Melinda though rude, was willing to help and give us the deposit back. Which never happens (red flag here.) 6. While on our stay at another cabin which a very nice booking company, my brother stops by the Majestic (your cabin that booked within the last 14 days because we lost it.) 7. Very nice family there from our neck of the woods (rockwall) says they actually booked the cabin not within 14 days, but confirmed 3 months ago! 8. I call you today (Tuesday the 26th of Nov. 2019) and you're the rude one. You failed to let me voice my frustration, concern. I wasnt even made because you weren't the one I talked to or the one that originally blamed me for this happening. But as the conversation continued, and you kept cutting me off and blaming me and the system...I knew you were not going to take any blame. no apologies for the system or your staff's handling of this incident. When you started saying hearsay on the other family, I said we are done and hung up. All you had to was say, I can't believe that happened. We rely heavily on the system and it made a mistake. Absolutely loved staying in a Beavers Bend Adventures cabin. The customer service is really friendly & the reservations were easy to make. The cabin (Dream Chaser) was clean & comfy. It was well appointed with basic items for cooking, the TVs were equipped with BluRay DVD players & DirectTV, and we enjoyed the gas fireplaces (indoor & outdoor), as well as a private hot tub. It's the perfect getaway and we would definitely come again! read more

My family and I rented the "Stairway to Heaven" cabin this past weekend. It is our second time to rent from this company and we have been severely disappointed both times. The first time we rented the "Lake Ridge" cabin. The hot tub, dishwasher, ice maker in the fridge, and the heater were all either broken completely or malfunctioning. They sent a repair guy out that could fix NONE of the problems.. bummer! No fun in the hot tub on a chilly January night for me and 15 of my friends that spent a lot of money and were really looking forward to it. I never received any money back for the broke down "luxury" cabin. This recent trip there were 18 of us, everyone was cooking something from sun up to sun down with windows and doors open. Most of my family are smokers, and stuck to smoking outside. I mean it isn't the 70s and 80s anymore, its 2018-- EVERYONE SMOKES OUTSIDE, especially if it isn't your own home. I get charged a $250 "cleaning fee" because it "smells like smoke and we left trash." We were charged an initial $160 cleaning fee with purchase of the rental- great!. When I contacted the owner she said that we left more trash than the "basic cleaning fee" and did not even consider that we didn't smoke inside. All of this is after we notice they charged us "holiday rental" prices which they refunded, but had we not noticed, they would still have that money. This company seems to want to fill their pockets with current customers money because they can't book their OVER PRICED cabins to anyone else. I gave this review 2 stars because the cabin and view were nice, but there are too many other honest companies out there that you should give your money to instead. VERY DISAPPOINTING! read more

I recently planned a weekend get away at the Famous in a Small Town cabin with my cousin Chrissy and our friends and family, and it was amazing. To be completely honest, after booking on the website, I was a little worried that the none of the cabins were reviewed nor showed up on Google Maps, and the only Yelp review was for another cabin rental. The development over there is still very new and Google maps didn't reflect the street signs of the instructions, but we followed all of the instructions given by Elizabeth and found the cabin easily and in perfect conditions! It rained the entire time we were there, but no one seemed to mind at all, and everyone had a blast! The cabin was fully stocked more than we could ask with toiletries, towels, kitchen pots and pans, even board games! We made a reservation in January to stay at a cabin the week of thanksgiving, 10 months in advance. On our way to the cabin me aunt calls them because we never received our check in instructions and she is told that our reservation was cancelled because the final payment wasn't received within 14 days of check in. Now she did have to get a new credit card number so the original payment that was set up wouldn't have gone through but we never received an email notifying us of this. But the real kicker is while on a walk my dad talked to the people who were now staying in the cabin that we had reserved 10 months prior and they told my dad that they reserved this cabin over three months ago. So instead of taking responsibility for double booking a cabin they took an opportunity to blame the customer and continuously yelled at and talked over my aunt anytime she tried to speak to them on the phone. They did transfer our reservation and deposit to another company (which is an obvious sign that they messed up regardless of their inability to admit that) which is the only positive thing I can say about this company because now we have found a much better company to rent from in the future. We spend thanksgiving weekend every year in broken bow and this would have been our fourth year giving this company our business. So thankful we will never make that mistake again. Do research! There are much better companies in the area that will actually treat you right. Reading the reviews I can see that this is not the first time this or something similar has happened with other customers. read more

My husband and I said at The Zaza cabin for our first wedding anniversary. The cabin was a great set up for a couple's getaway. However, the company that we rented from was below par. We spent the entire drive to Broken Bow, OK (around 3 hours) trying to get ahold of them so that we could get the right directions and key code to get into the cabin once we arrived. They never answered. I tried the email address they had provided and it came back as "nonexistent". Luckily we were able to dig around on their website a bit and found the location of the cabin but still no way to get in. When we arrived the backdoor was open or else we would have been locked out from a cabin we had already paid a good penny for. The lady finally called back around 3 hours after we arrived and said she would send the code... that never happened. Needless to say, the management was terrible and we wont be re-renting with this company. The Broken Bow area was cute and a beautiful place to visit. I highly recommend visiting this area if you just want to getaway. read more
