It is worth noting that that they have really cheap light bulbs and other consumables. 99p vs £5+ elsewhere for brake lights. Further, there is also a coffee machine, wide selection of fags and accessories for scraping ice off your windscreen. For those lazy folks with dirty cars, there is a fully automatic car wash. If you're more hands on then you will not be disappointed with the jet wash. Been eating cookies in the car again? Don't worry about that because they have a coin operated vacuum cleaner and free plastic gloves. If you want to be caffeinated and leave with a car that is fuelled, inflated and clean then look no further than the Inverurie Morrisons Filling Station. Only 4 stars though as the vacuum cleaner doesn't suck.

They suggested first, however, that we try a treatment to clear the converter out, rather than replacing it. It worked, and we didn't have to pay the £400+ to get the thing replaced. The…read moreAA roadside assistance man put a temporary tyre on my car and led me to the Kwik-Fit Plus on Hutcheon Street in Aberdeen as it was the closest garage to my lodging (The Brig Inn) that was open on Sundays. Once at the garage, he removed the temporary tyre and put my flat tyre back on the car, then dropped me off at my lodging. In the morning on Sunday 7 July 2019, I made my was to Kwik-Fit Plus on-foot. I arrived a few minutes before opening (10:00 a.m.) to check the tyre out and make sure I was towards the front of the line. I was not the only customer, but was very soon helped. I was afraid tyre fixing/replacing would cost a few hundred pounds, and was relieved when the bill came to a fraction of that price. It was around $100 (USD) if I am recalling correctly, which in my view was a deal. Cozy chairs and some concessions were available for those who opted to sit and wait for their vehicle, which I did. The wait was not long, with my car all fixed and me back at my lodgings and ready for the rest of the day a bit before noon.

Upon leaving for the first time, I noticed that I had a cracked windscreen. I imagine they just throw tools around. So I had to get that fixed. Next I found a check engine light on, I went back and they said it was an issue with wiring and they couldn't do anything about it. When I went to a proper garage they immediately noted that the wires were probed instead of checking diagnostics - a big no no. Next, my exhaust stared dropping low and scraped across bumps. I go back to KwikFit and I'm told a weld had snapped off so that's why its low. I go to a proper garage again and they are able to reconfigure the exhuast to the correct fitting. KwikFit 'mechanics' fitted the center and tail of the exhaust the wrong way round, then lied or was too incompetant to understand this, so told me it was a welding issue that they couldn't help with. I will never go back to any KwikFit again, in my mind they are about as useful as half a scissor.

First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - I've been to Pittodrie twice, but only once to watch a game. It was my 3rd fave experience in Scottish football but only because my fave Scottish team (Celtic) got a narrow and thrilling win. One of my most memorable nights watching Celtic for sure. Then when I was on tour here in 2011, the morning after the night of my concert, I went to relive the memories and walk around the stadium. I noticed that it hasn't changed a bit. It's still huge, it's still intense, but it badly needs a makeover and perhaps to have the corners filled in. Maybe that will happen soon. If it does, this grand old stadium from the 19th century could earn the 5th star that I want to give it. So when I was doing my first tour of Scotland in 2011, I also hit up every single stadium in the country. My obsession with footy (soccer to Americans) is the reason. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are based on first-hand personal experience, usually from multiple visits. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in UK for 3 months, I went to most of them yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at many of them, which I will post later. Also, when back in Scotland I plan to take more pix, and add more stadia! So watch this space! *** return to regular review *** The grand home of Aberdeen FC way up by the ocean in NE Scotland, this 1899 stadium holds 21k and is one of the biggest in Scotland with a fierce support. It was the first all-seater stadium in the UK. It's the 3rd largest stadium being used by a top club. It has a cool granite facade. They might move to a new stadium but that would be a tragedy really since this one is so good. It's 15 mins from the city centre on foot and Briony has been there. it's an expensive ticket. It could be better atmosphere-wise if the corners were filled in but it's one of the better stadiums in the country. It's very close to the sea which makes it absolutely freezing.
