Their bathroom was decent as was the rest of the store as well. The store was well-stocked also. The attendant that helped me was very kind and helpful. The store is clean and organized in a way that makes things easy to find. They have an extensive prepared food section as well as a beer tap station. There's a good amount of space to navigate the awkward shaped lot and significant traffic that always seems to be in this area. K&G tends to be on the pricier side of convenience stores and this one is no different. I hear the coffee is pretty good, but I usually opt for hot cocoa. They have a pretty solid rewards program (free to join) - weekly freebies, free coffee/fountain for frequent customers, food and gas rewards. Yes, they're a rapidly expanding chain, but they originated and remain headquartered in Des Moines so you could do worse.
