Great to visit Kum & Go again, came here a few times while I was in the area. Staff here was very friendly and Profesional with the job, even though he was sadly working Christmas. Great selection of snacks and they even carried the "Perfly" health drink which are really hard to find. Great merchandise, well taken care of property. Great gas prices and it's right off the highway. read more

With the name, how can it be anything but better than some and not as good as others! Easy on and off from I-80 and across the street from the Iowa River landing. Plenty of pumps with all ranges of fuel including diesel. The covered pumps are nice during the Iowa summer deluges and the selection of highway drive necessities is good. You'll probably leave thinking, "huh, didn't know there were that many types of beef jerky or energy drinks", but hey, it's a gas station! To the worthless pile of rudeness that worked Thursday May 31st 2018 at 10pm behind the register: I really don't know how you have a job. Someone must take pity on you. Unfortunately for the rest of us, we have to deal with you. I know you're life behind a register must be really hard, but I really don't give two shits. Absentee management is the root of poor customer service. So I blame the management for this, but miss lady cashier, you're attitude is your problem. Whoa okay so I don't typically review gas stations but holy wowzers, for a gas station this place is fancy! Fancy gas stations, who knew? Welcome to the future. It's a typical gas station, so lots of bottled drinks, snacks, and on-the-go lunch items. Also, gas pumps. But what blew me away is that they also serve ciabatta sandwiches. Yes, ciabatta sandwiches! And not just pre-made soggy refrigerator sandwiches... they have a menu and they make them as you order them. Gas station ciabatta sandwiches are something I would think is cool if I were in Italy but here in the US... whaat?! Also on the menu: pizza and hamburgers. Oh yeah, and they have beer on tap. Yeah, aint no thang. Just Backpocket (local!), Green Line (kinda sorta localish!), Boulevard, and New Belgium. Potentially a bad idea since most people are at gas stations because they're, um... driving a vehicle... but you can fill growlers so that's super cool. I could see this being a welcome treat if you're having car trouble or just in the mood to chill at a gas station for the day. One more thing that had me reeling was their outdoor seating. No, this isn't just a smoker's bench that's perilously placed on the sidewalk outside the front door... this is a legit seating area with tables and chairs, all under an extension of the building's awning. Business meeting at the gas station? I guess. PS. Let's talk about the bathrooms for a minute. Because seriously, 50% of the time, they're the only reason I'm at a gas station. The bathrooms were way stinkin' fancy. Globe-type chandeliers hung over every stall, elegant tile everywhere you look, and a super fancy vanity/sink area. I know, I know, Cum & Go? Who names a gas station that anyway? Actually, someone pretty savvy. You know how many t-shirts they sel? Just cause of the name? A nice fast stop, bathrooms could be cleaner, and yes, this was the one where the toothless old lady hit on me. No, I didn't take her up on her need for a ride. I DID expedite our exit by siccing her on my friend. Basic off the hiway gas stop, they are on the down side of restroom clean, and except for the crazy lady, (which you can run into anywhere), about the norm for long distance hi speed travel. I have always picked Kum & Go over Casey's, but that ended on May 12,2020. I walked into the Kum & Go at 3215 7th Avenue Marion to see 6 employees handling food and drink without GLOVES and MASK. When asked if they wore such to be covid 19 appropriate as well as food prep safety. They looked at me and said NO and started laughing. These employees were all ages from 18 to 60. Shame on you for being spreaders!!!! read more

Well this is just the best gas station ever. I'm not from the area, but I wish i was so I could be by this! They have a nice made to order deli bar and even a bar where they pour and bottle growlers of craft beer for you! Awesome! read more

Don't be displeased by the name, don't let it fool you. Their breakfast pizza is by far the best. Some say Casey's is the best, but I say Kum & Go has the best pizza overall. Their fountain drinks are super cheap too! I didn't know what to say when they told me that a pizza was 8 dollars on a Wednesday was too good to be true! But alas it was there. For 8 dollars I enjoyed a breakfast pizza for 3 days! How good can that get? Why isn't there more of these around the country? read more
