I love Sheetz. It is by far my favorite gas station/convenience store that I've ever been to. I so…read moredesperately wish they would open some in the Cincinnati area because they are so much better than what they offer out here. So what makes them so great? Well..their selection of products and snacks is always impressive. They feel more like a mini-grocery store than a convenience store with all they have to offer. But the main draw is their made to order food. Starting with the touch screen menu where you can place and specially customize an order at any time of day or night for anything from burgers to sandwiches or appetizers or hot dogs..their menu would basically be considered bar food-like..but it's all good stuff and it's all a lot better than you would expect from food made at essentially a gas station. Anywho, this location was alright. We stopped by to grab some food pretty late on a Friday night. The place was busy but not crazy busy. I hadn't had Sheetz food in a while, and I was pretty hungry, so I got a couple different things. A hot dog with ketchup and mustard, a steak and cheese sandwich, and some popcorn buffalo chicken. They used to have nachos and cheese on their menu..which was one of my go-to's for sure..but it was no longer on there. Bummer. The order took a bit of time to come out. It wasn't that long of a time, but it was long enough for me to think to myself that maybe it shouldn't take that long for an order of my size to be prepared. The staff there that night seemed agitated. They weren't really friendly and some of them were outright rude. I mean, I'm sure it's annoying to work there on a Friday night with all the crazy drunk people that show up to order food..but that's kind of what you're asking for when you serve made to order food all night every night. When the food finally did come out I was a bit disappointed with it. The hot dog barely had any ketchup or mustard on it..which made it seem pretty dry and bland. The steak sandwich was smashed together so much that it was almost the same size as the hot dog. It tasted alright but it didn't look that great. The popcorn chicken was probably the best thing I ordered. The chicken itself was crisp and the buffalo sauce was the right amount of hot and sweet. I ordered a ranch for dipping but they forgot to throw it in my bag..oh well. Again, I love Sheetz as a company..and even a bad Sheetz is still decent. I wouldn't necessarily consider this a bad location, and I would stop by here again if I were in the area..it would just be nice for the service to be a little friendlier and the food prepared a little better..that's all.

Love me some Sheetz and this one is a go to. The parking lot is huge, bathrooms are clean, plus the…read morefood is made to order and always hot and fresh.

a friend with a truck tells me he has to go to Giant eagle to buy a tank of propane I said mine ran…read moreout as well. Stop by and pick me up and I'll buy your tank. So we both show up to buy a tank of propane each and This fool would not let me buy the second propane tank. One tank per person. I can understand that but there was two of us and we were going to make two separate purchases but, he wouldn't let us do that. What a fool. So, I went to the 7-Eleven down the street and bought the second tank and it actually cost me less. I guess I don't need to go back to Giant Eagle.

No matter how drunk, obnoxious, or disrespectful a guest is being, I make sure I act as calm and professional as I possibly can. I never write negative reviews because I know how detrimental they can be to a business, but I strongly feel the need the share my concerns. I have witnessed two instances of straight disrespect and absolutely ridiculous behavior from an employee who works the late shift who is named Jarid. The first time I encountered Jarid was when he felt it was appropriate to SCREAM across the store to tell my boyfriend and I "not to touch the wine" because it was passed the time to purchase alcohol. We knew this, and were just observing the brands of wine that they carried for future reference. I let his disrespectful and unprofessional behavior slide because l figured he was just having a bad day. Tonight, was ordering food because I just got off of work at 2 am and was hungry after a 12 hr. shift. Jarid got onto the intercom to say very sarcastically "that we need to hurry up and order because they are closing down momentarily and if we don't hurry then we won't eat." As we were in line with maybe four other people, Jarid was loudly complaining about a customer calling him "trashy" and saying other things that should not be heard by customers. He then embarrassed the customer by screaming across to him in front of people "you better decide what donut you want now or you're not getting it!" I felt so embarrassed and sorry for that man. These are not the only time I have witness horrible and inappropriate customer service from this employee but there are the two the made me cringe inside. I don't know what kind of training this establishment performs in terms of customer service, but I don't know how anyone in the right mind would allow such a disrespectful person to interact with the paying customers of this business.
