This store is right off the…read morehighway in north St. Louis, which is responsible for much of the city's bad reputation for crime. This is by far not the meanest part of STL. However, it still demands being attentive to your surroundings. It has beat up streets around it, and suspicious characters outside at times. Be wary of your possessions in the lot, and aggressive drivers on the surrounding streets. Drivers in this area routinely run red traffic lights. Despite those caveats, I've always found this store does a good job keeping the lot, interior, and bathrooms clean. Employees are generally cordial. There's a Subway and a McDonald's attached, but the store has its own varied selection of griller items, fresh fruits and salads, and packaged sandwiches. I stopped to get my free hot dog through the Love's app on National Hot Dog Day, and staff threw in a free soft drink also.

Turns out....the gas station had men and women shoveling the lot constantly as the snow was coming down, to keep the lot clean/clear, throwing out rock salt. They had put down lots of cardboard inside the store on the flooring, and the store was actually okay clean. SLIP FREE!!! I received yes mam, no mam, do you need any help mam. AND I was NOT in uniform. I'm retired from the military!! THESE FOLKS went OUT of their way to make sure that ANYONE that had to be at work, got to work without ANY problems. No slips, no ice on the ground. The owner and staff were the BEST! WOW...I was super shocked. ANGEL BLESSINGS. Thank you to the owner and staff, I got to work early and had a snack. SAFE AND SOUND. Yes, I recommend this gas station.

They offer gyros, Philly steak, and flavored soft ice cream to name some of the things. It's a pretty big station, and really clean too, unlike some if the other stations in Saint Louis. The staff is friendly and always helpful. There's also a phone kiosk which is convenient.
