If you live IN DeKalb, go to Casey's on 38 and Peace Road. (I go by gas prices and Customer Service.) Fas Mart doesn't cut it. There's always something broken, it looks dirty, the CS is whenever they feel like it, the PRICES are the highest, and I would NEVER stop here if it were dark outside. Seriously, just go to Casey's, you'll be "safer" there.

I tried opening the door, although there was resistance I assumed it might have been frozen since there's frost everywhere else so I pull a little harder. With hardly any effort the door opens. As I enter, the employee shouts "lemme ask you a question. do you think that was the smartest idea?" Very confused, I turn around a find a PHONE CHARGER was tied to the other door to prevent it from opening. Mean while he's shouting walking around irritated saying "what the fuck man" and I'm just like is this even real..? I left without making a purchase as I was not about to interact with him again. I would have felt unsafe if the police officer I opened the door for wasn't standing right next to me, also confused. I have a few "smart" ideas for you... 1) they crafted this devices many years ago.. called a LOCK. Smartest idea I could think of would be to lock the door to prevent someone from entering it. 2) how about a SIGN? That maybe would say "hey, please don't go through this door." 3) having some sense of customer service and just letting it slide would also be recommended. But no... Just an angry unintelligent employee shouting. As someone in a customer service related field, any employee that approached a customer in that manner would no longer be a representative of my business.

I can't imagine how the employees feel and its bs that they're not allowed to used fans to cool off or at least open the door. I gotta say it's so hot in that store that the chocolate bars on the shelf is already melting. yeah that bad. You think they would learn from the last employee passing out on the clock because of the heat but this goes show they don't give a shit

I proceed with my nature call and after my bowel movement I reach only to discover there is no toilet paper in the dispenser, not a square. The toilet still had blue cleaning liquid in the bowl so I know someone had recently serviced the Men's room. No paper towels or anything at all to clean myself. I had to use the "Texas Three Finger Chili Scoop" to clean my hind side. I was in shock, mortified, embarrassed, humiliated, belittled and discussted afterwards. After washing my hands for an hour I engaged the Manager. I calmly, which is not in my nature, explained the matter to the manager. She immediately says " maybe a customer used it all." B.S. She lied to me because the toilet was still blue, meaning not used since being cleaned. I demanded a phone number to the Owner or Management Group, she complied. Moments later she came from behind the plexiglass screen and apologized for what happened. She then whispers to me "Like everywhere, we are short staffed and the people that we have don't care about performing quality work." Great but, not my problem! I then immediately called the number. Big shocker here, they don't answer. I left a message about what I had just experienced. Guess what? No return call! Now it is time to shout my story from the rooftops. I am enraged over this matter, still! I want to be contacted immediately! I am going to take this matter to the top until I receive redemption of some form, not be brushed away and expected to "lay down" What am I to do, what am I to think? The Many

I'm a regular customer at Merlin. I used to get all my oil changes and car issues checked there…read more But every time I went, they'd hand me a huge list of repairs. For example, when my tail light was out, they charged me $35 just for installation--something I later learned to do myself in about two minutes. Then, I heard a sound from my tire, and they said it'd cost $600. When I hesitated, they warned me it was risky to drive, so I agreed. Later, I had an oil change--they charged me $80 for synthetic oil, which should last 6,000 miles. But at 2,500 miles, my engine oil light came on. I checked, and there was no oil. I had to get it redone elsewhere. Next, I had a catalytic converter issue. Merlin charged me $300 for installation after I bought the part myself. Later, I smelled smoke from my A/C vent. They told me it would go away after some miles, but it didn't. My engine light stayed on, and after about 7,000 miles, the car wouldn't accelerate. They said it was the catalytic converter again--$1,500. I had no choice, so I paid. They had already charged me $99 for the diagnostic. One week later, I heard another noise from the tire. I asked them to check, but they wanted another diagnostic fee. I reminded them I had just done one, but they insisted it was separate. I paid $99 again. Then they said it was the tire bearings--$600. I was suspicious, so I took my car elsewhere. Turns out it wasn't the bearings; it was brake pads. I've realized they exaggerate issues to charge more. I've wasted $3,000 in two years. If I'd gone to another mechanic first, I'd have avoided all this. I've seen other reviews saying the same. I don't recommend Merlin. If you have car issues, go somewhere else.

I wish I could give them a lower score then 1. They wasted one day not even working on my vehicle…read more Then the next they worked on it, they all left a half hour early without finishing any work. They don't care bout customers, they suck.
