New location has made the other non named convenience store across the street drop their gas prices by a whole lot. 2 hot dogs for $1 is insane and so good. It is a large station with many pumps and a good-sized store as well. I liked that I could pay at the pump, so it was a quick fill-up, and I was on my way.

Before we knew we needed a new tire, our tire pressure was really low. I drove to several gas stations in Wake Forest and either they didn't have an air pressure tank or they did but it wasn't working. Finally, I found Exxon and not only did they have a working one, but no one was using it which was really convenient to take my time filling it up. And! It was free to use! I can't say anything about filling up the tank with gas or going to the convenience store but if you're looking to fill up your tires during these cold months, Exxon is my new go-to!

The HT member card provides discounts per gallon but it was still over 20 cents higher than other gas stations in Wake Forest. The station is clean and stayed busy while I was there. I do like that they offer the gloves to use while pumping gas but I've not used them.

They still participate in the Harris Teeter Rewards, but no longer get a discount on gas if you purchase a car wash. The car wash needs some upkeep, too. It doesn't always operate correctly. This location has a taco food truck, and customers buying food there think it is okay to park in front of the pumps. It was a struggle today to find an available pump. These people who are parking in front of the pumps are sitting at the tables near the food truck, eating, so the gas station is likely losing business, as those who want gas cannot find a pump and just drive to another station. I will just drive by the next time the majority of the pumps are blocked.

T Mobile has a discount on Tuesdays for Shell gas so with the discount the price is about the same. The pumps also don't have the tap feature so you need to insert your credit card which isn't as secure as I'd like.
