I assure you with kids that (over the years) have ranged in ages from 1 to 14, it is a challenge to create high-quality shots that capture our personalities and that we can proudly display on our walls. Throughout the years, our family has worked with photographers other than Kam. Kam stands out because she listens and respects family boundaries and expectations. For example, I hate lying on the ground, or taking pictures on my knees. Most other photographers cajole or shame me into getting into their poses (I guess it is common for guys to hate those types of poses). This makes a session a lot less fun and certainly less authentic. The time that Kam takes to get to know a family well in advance of the shoot makes a huge difference with the photos that end up being displayed on our walls. In addition to skilled photo shoots and understanding our expectations, Kam's customer service has been top-notch. Scheduling, communications, and commitments have always been timely and respectful of our busy schedules. When I first met Kam in person for our planning session (yes, you read that correct, you get a "planning session" so she can work with you to get exactly what you're hoping for in your pictures), I felt like I had known her my entire life! She took exactly what I explained I was hoping for, gave me a plan within minutes, we booked the session, and then pure MAGIC happened on the day of our shoot! Between our planning session and our shoot, she worked with me over text to find the best outfits/color of lipstick/hair for what I was hoping for and all we had to do is get dressed and beautify ourselves and then show up. She had hot drinks, hand warmers, blankets, a smile, and we had an absolute blast!
