It's clean and spacious. I love the large windows and natural lighting. There's a large book selection and whenever I'd need help finding a book, people were friendly. Everytime I would swing by though, it seemed like the coffee shop wasn't in use or opened. Maybe I would just come at the wrong times, every time. For the most part, their emails and text messages would be reliable when my books had to be renewed. But for some reason, I never got a reminder like I'd always get and I received a text that my books were overdue and I had fees. I went online and couldn't renew my books or even call in because it was a holiday and the library was closed. So I called when I got the chance after the next few days (it was a holiday WEEKEND, just my luck) and I was told that sometimes patrons don't receive renewal messages. I was also told that I can renew online despite the holds but the website couldn't even let me do that because of the holds I had. So there's some misinformed workers there depending on who you talk to. If the library was consistent and had a great communication service for renewals then I'd give this place 5 stars.

After some wandering, I was able to find a nice workspace with power outlets in a quiet area. With laptops up and running, connected to their free wifi, I did a couple of Zoom calls, send a bunch of emails and even managed to write a Yelp review or two. Fiction, non-fiction, periodicals, reference, media, this is a large library and they seem to be ready to help. They even have computers, but I think you need to be a local resident to use those. I had the opportunity to actually observe them processing and delivering. The general public has no idea what those folks deal with every single day in order to provide excellent service to everyone. In sweltering heat, freezing cold and torrential downpours they still come through. They all do their best to see that every customer gets the mail and packages to the addresses where they are supposed to go. With the high volume of pieces they process and deliver a few late deliveries would be the norm for any business. Try a little kindness folks... Try walking in their shoes a time or two. They make every effort to get everyone their mail and packages in a timely manner.

This 28-foot tall marble statue is located near downtown Cleveland and is on a median island. It…read moreis a granite obelisk topped by a sculpture of a Confederate soldier. He faces to the north. The north face of the monument is engraved with the Virginia Battle Flag and Blood-Stained Banner, and contains the words "To our known and unknown Confederate dead" on the base. The sculpture was erected by the Jefferson Davis Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in 1910. There have been petitions to remove the monument and counter-petitions to maintain the monument. For now, it remains. As for the monument itself, it needs a good cleaning. Due to the proximity to the traffic, it's stained and corroded. Adjacent to it is a second monument that was erected in 1890 in memory of three local citizens who died in a train wreck.
