I said I wanted it cut enough that it didn't curl around my ears. He used the word "fade" but I said tapered. My hair is now about a half inch near the top and a quarter inch near my ears. That's not what I said. It will take about 3 months for my hair to grow out. btw ... Don't just arbitrarily spray a guy with some smelly, scented water. I had to take a shower when I got home.

The absolute worst hair cut I've ever had. My hair is completely butchered. What you don't see…read moreis, under my hair line the shaved part isn't even level. This forms a trapezoid that's much more narrow in back than in front. The hair back is catastrophically shorter than the front. I wanted a normal, fairly standard haircut... and got a cross between Hitler and Emo-Goth. But not only was the style like some cheap Asian knock-off of what I asked for, but the job itself was terrible. No layering, didn't cut all the hair close to my ear, so I have long patches, the hair isn't all the same length, but isn't straight either. It's like a bowl cut, but using safety scissors. I've had many bad and less than good haircuts... but this is the first where I'm embarrassed to go out in public. I'll have to even it up myself, and let it grow out before leaving my house. And $20 is on the very high end for simple barber cuts.
