During an initial consultation, Joel Gerrett (Gerry) Connor could not say enough to me about what to invest in before I invested with him. As a result, I invested with Connor in an RRSP in 1994. After I had invested, I received a letter from the British Columbia Securities Commission that Connor was being investigated for irregularities. When I tried to contact Connor to find out what was going on, the reception prevented me from speaking to Gerry Connor. On April 11, 1996, Connor was reprimanded by the British Columbia Securities Commission. Now, Connor was being investigated for tax fraud and had been fined $75,000.00. What bothers me even more is that CFAX 1070 has Connor back on the radio preaching to the public again! I would not invest with this company (Con)nor ever again! CFAX 1070 has lost all credibility with me as well for bringing Connor back on the radio.

The added benefit of their in-housetax planning and tax preparation made for a big tax refund. I also enjoy listening to Mr. Connor on his live open line radio show on CFAX 1070 on Saturdays at Noon. The commentary and interviews help me stay in touch with my investments and keep me focussed.
