I was here today because I couldn't find what I was looking for in Dunnes, so I checked boots and they had it. As for this store, it's well laid out. This Boots is better than the one on Grafton street, but only because it's got more space. They do have a great selection of all your usual pharmacy fare. It's bright and clean. Staff are generally friendly and very helpful. But as a rule, I try to shop in a supermarket or in your run of the mill chemist down the road, but as a last resort Boots is reliable

This shop sells hairdressing supplies both wholesale and retail. You can get great products here that aren't available in other shops. They also sell these things at great prices because they won't hike it up within the industry. Even if you're looking for something as small as those little brown clips it's better to go here than anywhere else because you'll get better quality for what you pay. Similarly if you're looking for a hairdryer this is the place to go.

They stock a range of different items from make-up to hair dye to tanning products, but the individual ranges are small enough, so for example you might not find the specific hair dye or lip stick you're looking for. The staff are friendly and helpful and usually quite efficient so even when there's a queue it moves fast. The store recently had a facelift and now it's particularly shiny and even has places to rest your bag at the till!

I've long been surprised that more niche businesses haven't followed the spate of indie cafes and restaurants into the area. Well here is one of the first. A small but perfectly formed gem featuring unique art, really really gorgeous gift wear, vintage clothing for men and women, and lots of other knick-knacks. Two things stood out to me here more than anything - 1. You can tell that each and every item in the shop has been carefully considered and individually picked. There isn't an overload of stuff to trawl through - each piece is meticulously styled and merchandised beautifully.
