The Bisons Event team absolutely nailed it. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the venue space itself was perfect. From a planning perspective, the entire day was completely seamless. We didn't have to worry about a single detail, which allowed us to be fully present and cherish every moment with our guests. John was attentive, accommodating and so friendly. Jarrett took the time to come down and meet us and check in on how things were going. We cannot recommend hosting an event and working with you and your team at Sahlen's Field highly enough.

They always do fun theme nights and giveaways, including Dog Days at the Park, where you can bring your pup and there's a section dedicated to dogs and their owners. We definitely chose the best giveaway this year! They had Buster cereal bowls and full-size boxes of Cheerios, which are very well-loved by my kids. I just took my boys this time. One insisted on popcorn, while the other wanted nachos. The popcorn must have been delicious because he had to sit a whole row away from us to prevent his brother from repeatedly grabbing handfuls. It's definitely an overall win. Between the atmosphere, the games, the fun promotions, and the fact that I spent just over $10 on snacks for the boys, I really can't complain!

So I asked parents that were tossing things like fans and other things of use if I could have them. They were kind and let me take a few things before security came in, and made me leave. I have never been in trouble my entire life, and I was afraid they were going to press chargers, for as I was leaving a cop was coming into the school. I was not making any messes, I actually cleaned up a mess that had been made by students/family. Why won't you let people get things that can be used instead of it sitting in a dumpster. I didn't pull anything out of the dumpster, it was sat to were I could grab it if I wanted it.

Not only were they openly disrespectful and racist, but the referee was also highly biased and unfair, failing to address the inappropriate actions on the court. This created an uncomfortable and hostile environment for my daughter and her teammates, who were just trying to play the game. It was disheartening to see such poor sportsmanship and a lack of accountability from both the opposing team and the referee. This experience has left a bad taste, and I hope future games promote fairness, respect, and true sportsmanship.

Crashorama is our favorite event and we come every year sometimes twice a year to enjoy it. There is TONS of parking and lots of seating. Lots of fairly priced food and drink vendors and the whole time is fun. I could do with less political Trump BS on account of the announcing staff but that's another story entirely. Looking forward to next year and some more fun!

That being said, who doesn't love to watch crashes now and again? My wife and I get our race and crash fix twice a year add an event called crash-a-rama Rama. During crash a rama they host a variety of events such as and endurance race, Figure 8 races, demolition derby and boat/trailer races. The goal is obviously to win the race, but during this particular event they do it as aggressively as possible. The amount of crashes and mayhem that you see are well worth the $25 ticket price. The concession stands a reasonably priced, but lines do tend to get pretty long. They also offer beer and wine. Wine is $4 for a 5 ounce pour. In addition to crash crash-a-rama we have also been here for paintball. I got a Groupon, so I can't speak to the regular cost. We did have a really good time though, unique feature was they had multiple courses for you to play on. My group of 10 enjoyed playing on all of the courses and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Crash-a-Rama for families and friends, young and old; it's always a good time.

I finally had time to look back at our summer photos and wanted to document our trip to Bowman…read moreField for the 2025 MLB Classic. This has to be one of the coolest experiences we've ever had! Bowman Field only seats about 2,400 people, and tickets to the MLB Classic are extremely limited -- reserved mostly for Little League players (child plus two additional tickets per player), their families, media, and volunteers. That means very few tickets are available to the public, so being able to attend truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They had shuttle buses running from several areas in Williamsport, taking fans directly to the stadium. From the outside, Bowman Field looks tiny compared to most MLB stadiums, but that's part of its charm. We were lucky enough to be seated in the deck area, just to the right of first base, with a perfect view of the field. The deck is open seating and first come, first serve -- but we managed to snag seats right up front! There's no alcohol on site, but the food options were pretty good. I did have a small scare with some wasps trying to eat my funnel cake fries, but otherwise, it was a great experience. When I say the stadium is small -- it's tiny. You're so close to the players, and there's even a walkway right above where we were sitting where you can see them coming in and out. A few kids near us were diving over tables trying to catch foul balls -- it was hilarious and scary to watch. At one point, Lindor threw a ball right to us and YES, we caught it and gave it to our kids! We actually caught a few balls throughout the game and shared them with the other children around us. Overall, it was such a fun, unique, and once-in-a-lifetime experience -- something we'll remember forever.

The beer selection is awful. Even for a ballpark. Most have at least one or two offerings that aren't from the big three. But not here. Not even Yuenlueng!? WTH? Seats are fine, though the covered bleacher seats are too short and plastic isn't that great for a full inning game. The pricing to see the Crosscutters MiLB team is great at under $10 for every seat in the place. Employees were friendly enough. The guys walking around (or one guy specifically) walking around selling beers was SO annoying (and in such a small ballpark you see/hear him always) that I left early. Stop yelling, no one cares, and literally everyone ignored him yet he was undeterred. Though he should have been. So go see a MLB game here if you can score a ticket. And aside from the historical significance of it being the second oldest MiLB ballpark in the U.S. I don't think it's anything that great.
