    My fave section, 112

I love coming here so much! I've only come to see the Bisons and once for the Savannah Bananas. I find the prices extremely fair and it's hard to find things to enjoy that don't cost an arm and a leg. Tuesdays are awesome because there's $2 hotdogs (at 2 concessions ... don't go to the small stands with hot dogs and beer as they are full price there). I sit in section 112 and one of the concessions is at that entrance. They also have wine slushees here which are excellent, but now right lethal! Drink with caution lol! They sneak up on you! Friday nights they have great fireworks that last about 15 minutes. There are many other promotional game options ... they are available per schedule and you can look them up! Parking is expensive IMO, so I like to use the park and ride myself! The metro rail will drop you off in an easy walking distance and take you back after the game ($4 round trip last I took it, versus $20 and up parking near the stadium). I believe it's Seneca Station you get off at ... you'll know when you arrive as you'll see other baseball-goers getting off at the stop. Go Bisons!

Went for a baseball game for their military appreciation weekend tickets were free for active and retired military and veterans as well as family members up to four tickets. The stadium is very clean, simple to navigate, and we got to pick our seats! We sat in section 110 and it still was pretty close to the diamond so we would certainly go back. The game did get rained out during the second half but for the time we were there it was a great experience. We ordered a beef on a weck, which is an interesting dish to say the least but it was reasonably priced.

Went to a 1pm baseball game, not a lot of people, though it was on a rainy day. It is a cash free facility. When we ordered the food there was no wait. We got a hotdogs, pretzel, and fries. They all tasted like you think they would, not amazing but not bad.

All the staff here are so friendly! We really enjoyed the game the other night. Lines for food and drinks moved quickly too.

Came to Buffalo to sail, and ended our trip at a Bisons game at Sahlen Field. Service is pretty good. A lot of different food options with all local vendors!!!! Prices were decent for a ballpark. We got a beef on wick and a fried bologna sandwich. They also do an add-on buffet. Low-key family friendly environment. Enjoyed myself here.

The Buffalo Bisons hosted the Miracle Leagues of Western New York for two hours today. The kids had a blast hitting off a tee at home plate and fielding balls as well. Buster Bison came on the field and met with all kids. It was truly an awesome and memorable experience. Some of the Bisons players and Blue Jays were on the field to play ball with the kids. The weather was perfect today.

Definitely a bit on the retro side, but you can expect that from a minor league game. Overall, it was a good ballpark with cheap tickets. Food wasn't bad either! If you stay at the Wyndham, they offer a free shuttle to and from the game!

Came to see the Savanah Bananas. Great entertainment. But don't think you are coming to see a "true" baseball game..the setup though of selling 16,000 General admission seats was ridiculous. The first pitch was 715, doors opened up at 515, we got there at 4, and the lines were just crazy. There were no definitive lines, so people were just all over the places. Just prayed we didn't get stramppled on. Could.of done better in that area. But the show was entertaining.

Sahlen Field is normally home to the Buffalo Bisons Baseball but is currently the temporary home for the Toronto Blue Jays, due to Canadian covid restrictions. I got the opportunity to go to a Blue Jays/ Tampa Bay Ray's game. The Bison's organization did a good job transforming the stadium to be more like home for the Blue Jay's with replacing all signage. There were several changes needed to meet the requirements of MLB since this is normally a minor league ballpark. Bottom line, when the Blue Jay's are able to return to their home turf Buffalo will keep the updated stadium lighting and upgrades to the locker rooms, amongst other things. Sounds like a win win for everyone. Getting in was fairly quick and easy. I'd check their website for a updated list of items allowed, bag sizes etc. Just like most places these days. https://www.milb.com/buffalo/ballpark/sahlen-field A day at any Ball Park is a fun event for children and adults alike. It's no different here. So come on out and have some fun. And don't forget to sing nice and loud during the 7th inning stretch! 2021-104

Best baseball field ever. Best fried bologna ever! The fries are soooo so good too! Go Bisons!!!

This ballpark meets and exceeds the standards of most minor league facilities that I have visited throughout the country. Home to the Buffalo bisons, the stadium underwent a substantial renovation when the Toronto Blue Jays called this field their temporary home during the Covid epidemic. The bathroom facilities are well located and well-kept, food concession stands are regularly placed, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The scoreboard is large enough to see from every location with excellent graphics. The field is very well-maintained, cleanly manicured, and well striped.

While I was in Buffalo I got to explore a lot of different stadiums arenas and different things like that. I've never really heard of this ballfield so I was surprised to see it while we were walking around Buffalo and I saw that the Toronto Blue Jays are currently playing there because of the pandemic. So I got to get some good photos of the Blue Jays and the stadium itself while walking around exploring buffalo

Note: Written from a family perspective. They now have a pumping/nursing pod, which is perfect for mothers who want a little more privacy or a calm place to feed baby. If only they had this 4 years ago, I could have taken my pump to the ballpark. Multitasking! Food: Local cuisine available - pizza logs, beef on weck, Ru's pierogi and Sahlen's footlong hot dogs of course. Staple ballgame grub too. You can also bring your own food in (refer to site for more info). Bathrooms: Old, but the faucets were recently changed so you don't have to constantly push the button to run the water. Always a plus in my eyes. And the sinks low enough for toddlers to wash their hands. Cost: Definitely one the less expensive family outings. I believe that 4 and under are free; just "have sit on your lap." Can usually score cheap tickets as they often run promos. There are also some food deals, especially on weekday games.

What they do on Star Wars Night is just magical- there are so many adults that come, dress up, engage with the kids, take pics with them, and of course, create the videos, and perform in the massive on-field light saber fight! Their dedication and time is what makes this event an amazing, must-see each year. Buffalo is truly blessed to have this team- we get to watch pretty good baseball (Ok, this year it was a blowout and we lost!) and more importantly- a family can go to a game, indulge in allll the goodies, and NOT go broke! We always get hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy- you name it. We FEAST! It's once a year, so we go all out- and honestly, we don't break the bank. There is NO professional baseball game you can watch where you can go, get tickets, buy all the food you want, and afford it. But here, we can enjoy everything to the fullest and all for less than probably one ticket to a Blue Jays game =D. Whether you like sports or baseball or not, it's a good time. If you are not a baseball fan, you should go to a game where there is a theme- take your dog to the park, Star Wars, etc. Because even if you don't enjoy the game, you will enjoy the experience and it's a fun way to spend an evening or afternoon. I simply adore going to see the Bisons, and I hope my son continues to love to go, so we can keep this tradition going.

It was turned from what at the time a contemporary 70's office building to now a multi use space. The old bank branch is now a beautiful bar. Not any bar but the bar from Bada Bing in the Sopranos! In the open space is a pool table, ping pong table, a Nintendo game station, and comfortable seating. This is surrounded by art work, one piece made from the old bank vault, a giant gondola, live birds, and a miniature train track in the lobby. Quite a change from the old break rooms and cafeteria! These areas are open to the public, not just employees or residents of the building. Oh yes, the building now has apartments. There's also a nice gym, beer garden, restaurant, bike rentals, and outdoor gardens. The list goes on and they're still building and expanding. The only thing I saw remenent of the old days was the auditorium which is still the old velvety blue and orange. I think they should leave it that way. The new color makes it really stand out and since it's already the tallest building in downtown Buffalo it looks even nicer. Pretty impressive remodel and use of space. I know they give tours but my visit was just us wandering around ourselves so I'm sure I didn't see all the work. Maybe I'll come back for an official tour. 2021-135

Many of us had ever thrown hatchets before and those who had, aren't masters by any means. It was just a really enjoyable time to all try something new together. The drinks help too! Not with the throwing (I mean I don't think so) but with keeping the spirits high and having a good ol' time. The space itself is very big but with the cages for throwing, it can get a little tight with a lot of people. There is a bar there with some great beers on tap including the mystery beer which is always fun to try to guess. Food is limited to mostly pub grub but honestly, you're here to throw hatchets, not eat a ton. The pizza we had was good though so check that out. Overall, this is a really cool place to try out. It's okay though, because he's famous. I love this place, as I love the adjacent Squaw Island Park and Bird Island Pier. A lot of people underrate this place but they shouldn't. It's a lovely spot in Buffalo and unlike any other, especially because the Pier that extends out from here, goes all the way under the PB. I was last here not too long ago, a few months maybe. I always bring out of town tourists here (if they like walking), we wander around Squaw Island, the park, this part of it, and then along the Pier. It's beautiful, the views are spectacular, I recommend it to anyone. It's pretty harrowing in winter, though. In fact, Broderick Park is that amazing park just north of the Peace Bridge. To get to it, you drive all the way to the end of Ferry, across the rusted metal drawbridge, and you're on a little green island, which is also known as Broderick Park. It's a wonderful park with spectacular views of the Peace Bridge (known as the Pizza Bridge to Canadians because it's their most direct link to amazing Pizza... i.e. Buffalo Pizza), and it gives way to Bird Island Pier, where you can flip the bird to Canada-bound trucks and passenger cars and buses, and there's really nothing they can do about it except vow to exact revenge upon their return to the country, which may not even happen given the climate of border crossings into the USA at the moment.
