Long story short I had the car towed to Kennett and Sons around 1 pm and I didn't expect to hear anything until tHe day after Christmas being that it was 1 pm on Xmas eve. At 230 I was told the car was ready. Couldn't believe it. The owner, Ricky, explained that the engine was basically flooded with fuel from the auto start not working. He said it took him 15 minutes to remove the plugs and remove excess fuel. When I asked what I owed him said, " Nothing". Merry Xmas to me I guess. Thanks again Ricky. I read the other review and agree the shop isn't much to look at but then again either Is the one I take my car to in New Jersey and I trust the mechanic there too.

The young man working was a bit standoffish at first, and took time to warm up. There wasn't really a sense of professionalism from the employees (young and old alike). Lots of swearing and inappropriate conversations happened both with and around me. Pros: After warming up a bit, the employees became very friendly and had a good sense of humor. They completed my car inspection very quickly and charged what I felt was a reasonable price. They offered good advice on car maintenance and weren't too pushy with up-selling. They wen tout of their way to help me with another car problem even though they wouldn't necessarily make money off of it. Overall: This wouldn't be my first choice as a recommendation, and I definitely felt uncomfortable just standing in the shop (wouldn't go anywhere NEAR the couches). However the friendly demeanor that slowly appeared throughout my time chatting with the workers changed my mind a bit. This definitely would have been a 1-star review if not for the guys helping me out in the end.

Tried this new shop with one of my vehicles (Subaru XT). First of all the shop is super neat and well organized and the owners are easygoing, friendly and know their stuff. I had taken the car to another shop and had them look at it and they did not point out a few visible and problematic issues with some suspension elements. Jake took a look and took his time to show me exactly what the issues were on both sides of the vehicle. The shop came back to me the same day with an estimate and time slot for the work (that worked for my schedule) and the work was completed 3 days later. Everything was on time and the work was on point. Heading back in the next few weeks with my other vehicle (Infinity large SUV). Friday I had to literally drive up to their location and find out my car never got worked on after they told me it would so drive to their other location they're telling me their phones aren't working but yet they're making phone calls out to try to get a hold of the office manager. Office manager again gives me while I'm not sure what we're gonna do. I said I can't be without a car for two weeks I have doctors appointment which I've been canceling because of them. They then told me on Saturday I hope your car is done. Well Saturday evening I go out after they've said my car is all put back together and all of a sudden my traction light comes on. Then my brake lights flashing call them let them know they still can't tell me when this can get fixed telling me it's safe to drive etc. Then the shop manager tells me to call him Monday morning because he'll know whether or not his mechanic will be back in because he got a follow up doctors appointment after having the surgery which is fine. But then never called me I have to call him at 10 AM tells me well he's still going to be out we don't know when he's gonna be back well you would think with the follow up doctors appointment they would have an idea when he can return to work. But again I say OK as long as I can drive it Go out to drive it in my car stuck in the parking brake can't even move it my husband had to get it out now they're trying to say oh maybe it's the parking brake really because that wasn't an issue Then today I have to go to urgent care because I got something in my finger I go to leave and now my tire is up in to my wheel well. I never had these issues prior to having the work done. I know I did have certain worked on yes control arms ball joints and they said it's all good to go yet this fucking happens I gave them $1329 and now I might not even have a car at the end of us and they already cash the check before I can stop payment. They came out and towed my car to their shop. They didn't have correct part and couldn't make stocked parts work. I was really stuck and thought I would have to get a local hotel and wait till Sat morning and pretty much lose my whole ski weekend. But the repairman called the part store manager who opened up shop to get part and get me back on the road!! Then he told me there was no extra charges for the time trying to make stocked parts work or waiting for part from store as they should've had in stock. Couldn't believe it as I was pretty much willing to pay whatever since I was in such a bad spot. Best roadside assist call I could have hoped for. Honest guys with real integrity.
