The back of the club has a games room with a full sized snooker table. There is also a more informal lounge area next to the games room. Its clean and pleasantly decorated. There is a separate function room that can be hired for private parties. The club has various teams that compete in local leagues eg darts, snooker, pool. This is a very down to earh, friendly and well run club.

This club is run by a group of mail chauvinists who call themselves the committee. They have no…read moreregards for the members and they run the club for themselves If any member has a complaint it will not be listened to unless it is put in writing which does put most people off, but if you do complain it is totally ignored and you get told what I say goes take it or leave it. The furniture is old, uncomfortable and crowded which does not give a welcome environment to the members. The language in the Lounge is a disgrace with no consideration for fellow visitors who may be in the club. Some of the committee drink to excess as they receive free drinks tickets which they use to pay for their beverages and even though they are inebriated they still get served which is against the law. To be fair not all the committee have these low standards it is only the senior/long standing members who actually bully the others into their way of thinking.
