On Monday, the service department called and told me the recall had been completed. I picked up my truck the next day based on that information. The following morning, I received a call from the service department informing me that the recall had never actually been performed -- the technician had no explanation for why it had been marked as done. I'd encourage anyone with an open recall here to confirm directly with Ford (ford.com/support/recalls, using your VIN) rather than relying solely on the dealership's word that the work is done.

How in the hell am I responsible for an issue that was caused by your dealership. Make it make sense.because this is shady and definitely will be reported to your corporate
