He was nervous and was not taking treats from anyone but Mom. Hopefully, he will adjust. When they took us to the exam room, the vet technician came in to ask why we were there. After giving our dog's history and our concerns, they reviewed the medical records we brought and made two extra recommendations. One was necessary as we were required to have it done. The vet came in and sat down on the floor at dog level with the boy. Unfortunately, he was staying away from everyone who wasn't Dad by that time. So, the exam began but Mom brought his "all time do anything for favorite" treats and he was calm for his nail trim. The vet was a pro handling the teeth and small growl before reminding of the pup cup allowed the vet to complete a physical exam too. I did research and looked before we came to Valdosta. I found two vet clinics and Azalea Animal Hospital had the better rating. I can see why. The Mom

If anyone knows Farmer's Dog is not cheap and considering that I have 2 dogs, I pay a little over $200 a month for their food. Well, one of my dogs is ONLY supposed to get 1/4 of the food from their packet. I provided the boarding with 1 1/2 packets of that dog food, meaning that I should have at least had a whole packet of food left. When I picked up my dogs, the container I store the food in was completely empty. Then I was asked if I was supposed to have food left and I said yes. They looked in the freezer and the food was completely gone. I was told that "at least they were fed good." That's not the point! Their food is portioned and I received their food by mail once a month! So now you're messing up my portions because you can't PAY ATTENTION!!! I was livid to say the least because it's not hard to pay attention to the packaging with the portions! AND when I drop them off I get asked how much food they are fed!!! Your staff need to do better in paying attention to food portions given to people's animals when provided. You're wasting my money and my dog's food by disregarding instructions.

Here was my loved and loving pet who needed a good passage from this life and the treatment she got was not exactly cruel, but absolutely uncaring and unacceptable. Our youngest cat ingested one of our prescription medications that had fallen on the floor, and…read morethankfully we noticed the signs as soon as he started acting differently. We called Valdosta Veterinary Associates (VVA) on the recommendation of our vet, and VVA asked us to bring him in right away. We arrived around 10:30 pm, rang the doorbell, paid the $500 deposit, and they took him back. Vet Poison Control is who they work with for toxicology, and VVA told us it was cheaper if we called and got a case number instead of them calling, so we did so ($89). Once VVA received the case number, all calls back and forth are included in the $89. We brought a list of our medicines, and both parties were able to determine what our kitty most likely ingested. While the determination was being made, Barnaby was examined. They took his blood pressure, examined his eyes, watched his gait, did blood work, and hooked him up to IV fluids and an EKG that stayed attached the entire time he was there. Once the pill was determined based on all of that, VVA gave him anti-nausea medicine, other meds to help counteract the effects, and an antibiotic. We picked him up the next night around 8:30 pm. Also during the first night, they gave us an estimate of costs after the likely medicine was determined, so take note that you need to be prepared to pay that additional estimate on top of the $500 (I did see a pamphlet about a credit company so that option is also available). We were refunded the difference the night we picked him up. We worked with Dr. Zachary Temples that first night. He is a young doctor who I believe grew up in Valdosta. He explained the whole process to us and kept us updated throughout. We were there for around 3 hr. All told, our cost was approximately $1,100. We have taken steps to prevent this from happening again and are ecstatic that our kitty survived. We are thankful that a 24-7 vet service is available in our small town!

First off, we did not see Matthew Randolph as told over the phone. The female veterinarian who we…read moredid see was judgmental because our kitten was stressed out from riding in the carrier. What cat is not stressed out riding in a carrier? Anyways, turns out he was a little chunky, which she was angry about. She then said she was going to put together an estimate for the neuter of our kitten and then left. A tech walked in with the estimate for the procedure, and when I had questions it was the tech who answered them, not the veterinarian. I felt a little lost because they quoted 2 prices, one of which was $619 and the other was $756 for a basic neuter! They then told me I needed to schedule the surgery and basically shoved me out the door. I called around to other vet hospitals and they said the neuter would only cost $150 to $250 with everything included! Needless to say I canceled the neutering with this practice. I would not suggest going here, they are overpriced, to say the least, and did not make me feel welcome.

Took my ferret in as an emergency because she was just tired and…read morenever wanted to play she recently got bit from our other pet cat and there was a mark that swelled up (keep this in mind) and she had terrible fleas so I sprayed her with flea spray that on Google and a vid showed me how to use it and told me it was safe for all pets. Trusting the doctors ratings we took our ferret there to see why she was acting so strange note she was waking happy and healthy just a little tired. We got there and the lady at the desk was very nice till the doctor came out seemed really rude and fed up. I gave my baby away and I kiss her good bye and in trusting that they would find the problem and why this had happened... After a long day of worrying they said that she was fine to go home they apparently gave her fluids under the skin and said it was the spray not the bite that caused this, which was strange considering they said they couldn't even see were the bite was even though there was a huge bump. We got her home and undid her carrier and right away she couldn't move her arms. At first it was funny but then slowly we noticed that she couldn't move her legs. We called three times every time they told us to come back and we told them we couldn't,(it was 108$ last time) we didn't have enough money and then they said she will be fine in time stating "it's normal and if shes swallowing food then she's fine" we continued to get worried and watched her and gave her baths continued to feed her because she was quote unquote "fine" as the third day hit we noticed she couldn't breathe as much as she once did, breathing through her mouth and it wide open. We wanted to call but they were closed and we were going to take her finally Monday (the morning she died which was 4:20am) she was still swallowing so we had hope till last night... I remember it we tucked her in to bed got the heating pad on making sure she was warm considering she couldn't keep warm. She was fully bathed and dry made sure she had food and water and the big swollen bump was still there... We went to sleep and around 4:10 I woke up to use to restroom and saw her breathing hard and heavy telling myself the doctor said that she's ok it's normal and went to sleep. I woke up to my boyfriend crying saying she was gone... We did everything we could but that doctor made it worse PLEASE DONT GOOOOO HEREEREE!!!
