Wade kept in touch with us as construction progressed (we acted as our own General Contractor) as he was concerned about the decking being exposed to any precipitation. Due to the impending weather Matthews Roofing timed it so as the framers were finishing the decking on the south side of the house his crew started on the north side. Our decking was completely covered before any rain. The rain started the following morning. This level of concern is rare among contractors and Wade has proven to be a man of his word and he s our go-to roofer from now on. After at least 2 weeks of them not coming back she contacted them. At that time they stated they needed $3,000 more. Robert had enough and with the help of friends went and replaced the roof. His Aunt requested a refund. They sent her back $600. So she paid Cannon Roofing $800 for a blue tarp!! Please BEWARE of this truly unprofessional company. Please share. If I could give a zero or minus, I would. The workmanship was terrible. The room leaked after the…read morefirst rain, the concrete settled so the doors stick and the trim is pulling away from the wall. Contact with the Contractor resulted in 2 visits with minimum repair (calking seams) and after each visit the leaking continued. Contractor then refused to respond to phone calls or text messages for 6 weeks. He came out, stating he would fix everything and was ordering new material. He came out a second time to recheck measurements. It has now been 6 more weeks and he continues to be a no show. Demolition and rebuild will cost double my initial investment. I would not recommend this company under any circumstance.
