I spoke to an employee re rescheduling and explained that I felt it unnecessary to come in to discuss the results of a test that were all normal. IMMEDIATELY after I told her that, she said she needed to reschedule! S he hadn't listened to a word I said. I explained AGAIN. She said okay and we hung up. I was contacted again about missing the Appointmen! I spoke to her AGAIN explaining that I had cancelled BEFORE the appointment! She AGAIN wanted to reschedule and AGAIN I explained that I thought it unnecessary. She said that if I didn't come in they wouldn't refill my prescriptions. I called the next day, asked to speak to the doctor. I was refused and allowed only her assistant. I told her that I'd be happy to come in and discuss both the test results and the procedure results, but since the procedure had been canceled when I reached the clinic, it needed to be rescheduled. I asked if they would refi my prescriptions until after the procedure. They said no. So...I'm stuck. Any meds I need to be refilled won't be. I'm finding a new doctor.

Even when they apologize, you can hear the disdain in their voice. If you don't want to work here, then don't. But don't take it out on the patients. That's not a way to stay in business.

It doesn't exist anymore but I wish this place would be. On to the review... So I was experiencing some symptoms I had never had before and while trying to reach my primary care and other Drs for some assistance in what I was feeling and maybe how to handle, I was not able to get through nor get any return calls in a timely fashion. I went to another urgent care close by and they did not have the equipment available for what they were suggesting and recommended Guidewell. I was reluctant because it was way up the road, it was getting late in the afternoon, the traffic etc and still not getting any answers on how to diagnose and treat my symptoms. I took a chance, I called on the way and made an appointment. When I got there, the staff was very nice, they helped me get started with the check in process and the wait time was not that long, there were a few people ahead of me. Plus I had the appointment if there was a long wait. Once I was brought back, they triaged me, asked all the questions and immediately started with BP and the basic stuff, then they didn't just take blood but in case I needed fluids they put in an IV that would give them the option later rather than sticking me twice...luckily I didn't need fluids. They ran quite a few tests and in a very timely manner. When it was time for the doctor to come in, she listened, she was patient, she was very professional and cordial and very thorough going over my results and recommendations. I would definitely come here in the future...but beware the hours.

At almost 5pm the day before the appointment (less than 24 hours prior to my scheduled time), they called to move my appointment up for the next day. When I explained that I had already requested time off work and couldn't make an adjustment so last minute, they basically said "oh well. Sorry about your luck." I understand getting a doctors appointment is difficult, and patients are at the disadvantage in that sense, but the lack of care or consideration in scheduling was appalling. As a provider myself, I found this to be extremely unprofessional and haphazard patient care.

And off he went into the surgery prep area. So, I made my way towards the onsite mess hall. Checked out a cozy little store on the way. Then made my way to the canteen and grabbed myself a coffee and hung out for a little bit. Finished my coffee and made my way back to the waiting room. And WOW, on the wall was a screen, that used case numbers instead of names (for privacy I'm sure - case # was on the paper the nurse gave me), which gives the status of each patient currently in surgery. What a great tool. Enjoyed some conversations with some very friendly women for about 45 minutes. And then I get a phone call...... FROM THE DOCTOR! he tells me everything went well, and to go ahead and make my way back to the check-in area where my husband will meet me shortly. And it was shortly... So, A++++ in my book. He also has the patient make multiple outpatient visits. My husband selected another physician and the out patient follow-up has decrease by 50% I do not recommend him as a physician
