Why do people have to walk around this? Seems better if it would be by the wall opposite the desk or where computers are. Room pricing: Quirky. I wasn't quoted a specific price per night and it seemed high. I stated it was off season and was told it didn't matter that they can charge different prices or change prices per week or weekend, there's no set amount. What?? Doesn't sound legit. My bill has six different prices per night from $159.99, $174.99, $199.99, $339.99, $155.99, $169.99. Even the room tax was different each night,... $24.00, to $30.00, to $51.00, to 25.50. This bill was perplexing. I really didn't look at it until after I left the state. I had a long drive. My bill total was $1973.32 for 8 nights! WOW!! Crazy!! Room: It was clean but the carpet looks like it needs shampooing. The edge where it meets the tile near the bathroom was frayed from foot traffic. Stepped on the metal edging one night, it didn't feel good on my foot. Time to fix it. Toilet paper is awful, cheap and thin. The TV has limited channels. The button on the room phone for the front desk didn't work. Parking: spaces are tight, your car may get its doors banged if others aren't careful. They say there is security cameras in the lot but I doubt it. Didn't see any cameras. Noise: room doors close hard making a loud noise which causes shaking vibration of walls & bed. Quiet close doors please, people come in and out late night & early morning. Some woman was talking loudly on her cell phone at 2:00am in the hall waking me, then at 7:00 am a refrigerated tractor trailer truck delivering supplies came into the lot stopping right along the west side of the building where my room was. Woke me again. Truck left idling. Maybe I got 5 hours sleep that night. Also delivery trucks unloading at the Ford dealership early in the morning on the west side of hotel. Lights: housekeeping turns on every light in the room / bathroom before leaving. Why? No wonder they charge so much. Overall I was not happy about room pricing, felt I got ripped off, and the noise disturbances in and out of hotel. Hopefully I won't have to come to CT. again. I won't be staying here. Disappointed.

Kyle, who helps Rafael, is also a sweetheart; Sheila, from Haiti, is super professional and even-tempered; Calm and smart Raoul helped me set up my computer and monitor and has been great at answering tech questions; and Glori the manager often makes me laugh. The downsides are occasional police activity (everything from domestic violence to who-knows-what; there was a robbery at the front desk a couple years ago) and occasional noise. (It's impossible for staff to corral all the rebel rousers. I appreciate the sign in the lobby designating 9 pm ton6 am as Quiet Time!) Today, for example, I came back knackered from a day of appointments related to my upcoming teaching job, only to hear several people running, yelling, screaming into cell phones and blaring loud music. I know I'm extra sensitive about noise; this may not bother some. Maintenance is great. TVs superior. Free coffee in the morning. If you're looking to eat in the room or get some evening snacks, you have plenty of opportunity there. The best part of the Rodeway Inn though is how clean it is. Extremely white sheets, very little dust, and you can walk with bare feet. For the price range, you're getting a much higher level of cleanliness! I would definitely go back.

The woman who checked me in was very friendly, and even asked if I had a room location preference. Much appreciated because they do not have an elevator to the second floor, and I had just had a delicious dinner and didn't feel like schlepping my things upstairs. The room was clean, had no carpeting, and the toilet was actually made for adults. (This is an ongoing pet peeve of mine.) The only downside is the TV had some issues, but once I straightened the plug and discovered it worked best held upside down on the right side bed, I was able to change channels.

The photo and description are completely inaccurate. The rating was way too high and inconsistent with what I found and expected. This not a hotel, it's a motel. Our room had 2 queen beds and only one was usable. You could feel the springs. The walls and the ceiling are so thin you can hear conversations. We were on the first floor and you could hear the footsteps of people in the room above. To make things worse, they had a toddler who ran all over for several hours. Honestly, I'm very sorry that I got sucked in to staying in this place. I would never recommend staying here. Should you decide to stay here you'll be sorry.
