Aside from learning an impressive amount of dance moves in a few days that can be filmed to look decent, the kids also have playtime midday including water play on Fridays. After care runs as late as 6 but my daughter was mostly just watching Disney movies with the very nice girl watching her, not much else was going on. Main con was that the camp was one of the most expensive ones per week compared with other camps locally with similar hours, including themed ones (eg hiller aviation). Also it was really hard to retrieve the video of kids' dances - it's hosted on canva and there's no way to download the hard file. Aside from that, my daughter had fun and we hope to do it again next year.

I've also met a lot of friendly and encouraging classmates, which has made the studio feel like a real community. It's a very comfortable environment. I really appreciate how the classes are structured. We start with a quick icebreaker, move into learning a routine (often with shines), and end with social dancing. Rotating partners throughout class is a huge plus as it gives you experience dancing with different styles and skill levels and helps you grow faster. Liv DanceArts, Professional Ballet School has become a part of our family over the last three years. I made 6 phone calls (including voicemails) and sent 4 delivered text messages, yet I never received a single response. Meanwhile, my credit card continued to be charged. I ultimately had to block CY Danceworks from charging my card and file a dispute. This level of communication is simply not professional, and I'm very disappointed with how this was handled.

The place is small and there weren't many people there which I really liked. It felt more personal than classes that have 30 or so people. One of the ladies who works there even came over to me half way through the workout to ask how I was doing since I was new at Zumba. The people taking the class also seemed very friendly. It was hard though since I didn't know the steps and have two right feet when it comes to dance moves. However, I kept moving and ended up getting a great workout. Can really see that the more I come there, the easier it will get with learning the steps. Overall I really enjoyed my experience there and want to return for more classes.

Came here for a trial dance class for our 4 year old. It was a pre-ballet tap class…read more First off, email communication is spotty. We've been trying to do a trial class for a few months and they never responded to our inquiries. Also, their schedule isn't listed online, which makes it difficult to know what is available. Parking: Pretty challenging since it's right next to a lot of auto shops and most of the nearby street parking is taken. Check-in was a little chaotic. It was unclear whom to check-in with and what we needed to do to prepare. They dropped off some tap and ballet shoes, but no sizes weren't listed and many didn't come in a full pair. It was also unclear whether we needed one or both pairs. The class itself was cute with an initial 20min of ballet then 20min of tap and 5min of choreography. By the choreography, I would say only about 10% of the class was paying attention lol. Overall, given the high cost of classes and inconsistent communication, I'm hesitant to invest in the classes should we ever need to cancel or reschedule.
