I have stayed with Christina for so many years because she is so attentive during the sessions, as well as very thorough. I have seen her grow her studio from a tiny space with few retail offerings to a larger spa-like atmosphere offering a variety of services in addition to just sugaring. The studio is exceptionally clean, and Christina has always been very conscious of this aspect, particularly around the pandemic restrictions we all operated under for several years. Christina and her staff are very present to clients and strive to offer extras - flavored waters, hot teas, cups of snacks, soft lighting and music - that make each visit seem like a small spa escape. They make sure clients are aware of recommendations for post-sugaring care and offer products from their own stock for purchase. All the products carried at the studio are high quality, all natural products that Christina and her staff have used and can confidently recommend. All of these things are "value adds" to the overall experience.

While Jasmine is very good at the waxing, she is INCREDIBLE at sugaring. I swear it barely hurt, the result was perfect, and I had basically no irritation or ingrowns after. In addition, Jasmine is super friendly and great at giving you warnings to breathe on the more sensitive areas. I am giving 4 stars because Jasmine set the bar very high and I feel like other waxers I have seen at the North Charleston location haven't quite lived up to her standard. They are going through some management and company changes right now, so scheduling can be a bit wonky (I got three separate calls to confirm my most recent appointment, in addition to a text, but when I arrived I was placed with a different specialist than I had booked with), but everyone there is very friendly and apparently they are going to be offering more med spa services at this location very soon.
