Second, their office manager Yoly is incredibly helpful and responsive. She always answered my emails quickly and thoroughly. It is clear that her goal is to ensure that moms are supported. You can go to Yoly for any problem or issue, and she resolves them very efficiently and effectively. Third, my doulas Gabrielle and Mercedes were incredible! Gabrielle was my night doula for 8 weeks, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Because of Gabrielle, my breastfeeding journey has been easy and enjoyable (I exclusively pumped with my first)! Not only does she have the knowledge and experience but she has instincts to help you successfully breastfeed. I can honestly say that out of all the lactation consultants that I have seen in both my pregnancies, Gabrielle is the absolute best! Specifically, Gabrielle was able to help with positioning and latching, and she taught me how to use a haaka so that I could catch milk without having to pump. To date, I have not pumped, and yet, I have so much frozen milk thanks to Gabrielle's insight and assistance. She is also just wonderful and a bright light to any household she joins. She supports you during this vulnerable time and really sets you up for success as a mom. I was very sad to say goodbye to Gabrielle, and I know that any family who welcomes her into their home will be in great hands. Mercedes provided me with day and postpartum services. Although I was only able to work with her for 3 weeks, she is so wonderful and has been such an integral reason for my smooth recovery! Her passion is postpartum nutrition, and she is extremely knowledgeable about this topic. If nutrition is your focus when looking for a postpartum doula, then you should work with Mercedes! She knows all the delicious foods to support you in your healing and breastmilk production. I can personally attest that her lactation cookies are delicious! Mercedes also went above and beyond during all of her shifts. She cares for all her moms and babies, and you feel that she is just an extension of your family. I can go on and on about Gabrielle and Mercedes. Because of them, my husband and I were able to enjoy this postpartum period, and I will be forever grateful for everything that they have done.

From the very first phone call, she gave me her undivided attention and answered my questions. I found her website by searching online and I was really drawn to the help she provided. I was in search of changing providers and I was already past 35 weeks and in my final trimester of pregnancy. Bridget was able to recommend a few providers and I was able to switch and found a provider that worked for me. I was so grateful for the change over. She was actively there for me prior to my 38 week mark and answered every text, call and email in a timely manner even with her other clients. At my birth, she worked with my spouse and I to help provide the best possible birth for me. We brought my birth preferences and gave it to the nursing staff. Along with my spouse, Bridget and the nurses were all advocates for me during my labor and birth. Bridget brought some twinkling lights and essential oils that helped me relax. She traded shifts with my spouse and we even played some music and laughed. She helped give me snacks and kept me hydrated during my labor. At my postpartum visit and beyond, she has really provided the support I needed in my fourth trimester and we are forever thankful for her expertise. I can tell she gives every client her all and puts her heart into her work. That is what she did for us. First I went to my Gynecologist who couldn't find anything wrong and then to a Gastroenterologist, who also could not find anything wrong. After a lot of money and months of appointments and testing, I felt pretty helpless. Thanks to some desperate late night google searching, I found Lotus and decided to give it a shot, because I had nothing to lose. From the first appointment, I felt completely comfortable. The office is so cozy and welcoming and every person working there is so friendly. This does not feel like a medical office...it feels more like a calming retreat. Sarah and I had an in-depth conversation during my first visit, whereby she gathered a list of all of my symptoms and then promised me, if she didn't know how to fix it immediately, she would keep working until we found solutions. That was so encouraging after a lot of medical shrugging of shoulders. I knew I wasn't alone in this anymore. Each session we targeted two to three issues and Sarah would make adaptions based on how I was feeling that day. Every time I walked out of the office, I had just a little more relief and could feel my old self coming back. Some sessions, I left feeling significantly better. It took a little less than 3 months, of regular weekly at first and then bi-weekly appointments, and every single one of my issues was GONE! Not just better, GONE. We even addressed some issues she found, that I didn't even know were a problem. The only thing I regret, is not going sooner. If you're on the fence, make an appointment, because they won't leave you stranded to face the struggle on your own!

Seeing a pelvic PT was the single most helpful thing I did to prepare for delivery, and the best choice I made in my recovery! The new office facilities are SO nice, with relaxing private rooms as well as a good-sized gym area for exercise progression. I am also a physical therapist (in a different specialty practice area) -- so by nature, my expectations are going to be high. Holly and her team surpassed them all! I cannot say enough good things about this group and will recommend them to all expecting/new mommas and anyone living with pelvic floor dysfunction. Bonus -- the office is baby-friendly, so I was able to bring my son along to my appointments after he was born!

I had such wonderful care during pregnancy, during labor, and during postpartum care . They even could see me struggling emotional when I couldn't see to voice. They asked questions that really were healing- the deep hidden ones you don't know needed to be asked until you feel complete peace after talking through it all. I knew I had such support no matter how the birth story was going to end. Such words of wisdom, lots of hugs, support through all my questions and concerns- especially for my first. I KNEW I was in good care. Never felt brushed off. Never felt rushed, never felt my information was neglected. Happy to say all 3 of my babies were born safely, healthy, and with a perfectly perfect experience- all that I could ever wanted. Joi, Jordan and Erika all saw me and all were at one of my births. Stayed with us, gave us space, checked in on us, coached us during go time etc. They are family to us and even the grandparents highly adore them. I am now about to venture to them for my last baby and I can't wait for another and final journey with them.

They dropped the ball the day my fiancé went into labor…read more After my fiancé's water broke at 2am, Erica made us wait 15 hours to see us at 5pm because the contractions weren't progressing enough for their standards. When we got there Erica began telling us how much work she had to do and that maybe we should think about going to the hospital since it had already been 15 hours. WTF???? She ultimately sent us home with some essential oils and told us to come back if contractions reached a certain point. She refused to help us, or let us stay and use the room we paid thousands of dollars for... She reminded us again of how much work she had to do that day We trusted these midwives to help us through the labor, ESPECIALLY if it wasn't going perfectly. We wanted someone who cared about our concerns, and our number one concern was a breech baby causing a C section. We hired the doula Erica recommended - both her and Erica said the baby was in perfect position for delivery and they even stopped me from helping my fiancé do some of the "spinning babies" exercises we learned during her pregnancy. Those exercises are designed to help a breech baby get into the correct position. Despite the fact my fiancé was not dilating more as the contractions slowly progressed over 20 hours both of these experts dropped the ball, acted completely confused, and stopped me from helping my fiancé. People like this are the reason I have trust issues, even when somebody claims to be an expert. I'd have done a better job without them. Our baby was breech that's why she wasn't coming out. They didn't have an ultrasound on hand at the birth center to verify the baby's position and when it really came down to it these people were useless when it mattered most. Because our baby stayed in the womb for so long she ended up having some meconium staining on her lungs and had to spend 5 days in NICU after her C section. Thanks birth center. And I wasn't going to say anything about this but why not? A couple times we were there my fiancé saw red flags like other people's urine samples in the bathrooms, and one of the midwives was barefoot for our whole appointment during which she let my fiancé's blood sample rest on the counter for an hour. The blood sample ended up being bad and we had to re draw at the next appointment. Totally wasted $6,600 on this place and the doula they recommended.
