He informed me that not in the office that day because he was about to leave town for vacation and he gave me the names of a couple other places I could call. After that did not work out Richard called me back and told me he could meet me at his office in ten minutes if that worked with my schedule. My watches had mechanical issues (they simply aren't working), which I thought was a battery. When I came in to pick them up, I was told that it wasn't a battery issue. I then probed further, but the gentleman who was "helping" me shrugged his shoulders and told me they were not able to figure out the problems. I then asked if that was all, and he nodded and said I should take them elsewhere. He was actually quite rude and standoffish. So, it turns out, Bradley Gough are not "experts" in terms of watch repair and the information on their website is misleading. Which leads this potential customer to question whether they are experts at anything. Of course, maybe I was deemed not "important enough" as a customer, given what I came in for. After all, repairing a watch is a far cry from an engagement ring. The interesting twist is that I am actually mulling a major jewelry purchase, and was considering Bradley Gough. However, I will surely take my business elsewhere after this poor display of customer service and credibility.

Most recently I came in to find a birthday gift for a friend and order a Christmas centerpiece for my mother in law. I entered the shop and noticed there were a couple of ladies working. I was not greeted at all, no eye contact even. It was as if I wasn't there. I walked around the entire store hoping they'd make contact with me but for a half an hour, I got nothing. As I was walking through, one of the employees walked past me holding a box of some sort and as she walked behind me, she let her elbow rub along my back as if I was in her way. No excuse me, no I'm sorry. I didn't know what to think! I was so terribly disappointed by my visit that I don't think I will be back for some time if ever.

They have an excellent selection of Catholic Christian gifts and goods. Their book selection is ok and is expanding monthly. Their selection of religious DVD's is very good. There is also a room that has a good selection of church goods: candles, pixes, priest's vestments & shirts, etc. One whole wall is covered with various Crucifixes. They also have a good selection of printed Religious Icons mounted on wood, as well as small 2"x3" refrigerator magnets. They do carry First Communion and Baptismal outfits for children. Also, they have a very good selection of religiously oriented greeting cards. (Baptism, Confirmation, Wedding, Funeral, Ordination, Anniversary, Birthday + others) I even saw a soft, stuffed practice "Mass" kit for those boys who would like to play at being a priest!
