He informed me that not in the office that day because he was about to leave town for vacation and he gave me the names of a couple other places I could call. My watches had mechanical issues (they simply aren't working), which I thought was a battery. When I came in to pick them up, I was told that it wasn't a battery issue. I then probed further, but the gentleman who was "helping" me shrugged his shoulders and told me they were not able to figure out the problems. I then asked if that was all, and he nodded and said I should take them elsewhere. He was actually quite rude and standoffish. So, it turns out, Bradley Gough are not "experts" in terms of watch repair and the information on their website is misleading. Which leads this potential customer to question whether they are experts at anything. Of course, maybe I was deemed not "important enough" as a customer, given what I came in for. After all, repairing a watch is a far cry from an engagement ring. The interesting twist is that I am actually mulling a major jewelry purchase, and was considering Bradley Gough.
