I have had excellent service in the past but be prepared to spend hours here 5+ and it is very expensive compared to other salons. I do not care for the sinks, you lay almost flat; and the store is extremely cold this time of year. They use Caldwell products here. They are no longer offering esthetician services at this salon.

She uses only the strips, which was the first red flag. Not a combination of stripless wax and strips. She tried to yank my hair off with one big haul. This resulted in ripped skin, more-than-usual bleeding, and bruising. This was my first wax of the season, and she clearly lacked the foresight to do small bits at a time and hold the skin in place as she ripped. I now have black and blue bruising on my groin going into the summer season. Horrible. Lashes and makeup might be fine, but I caution anyone who books a bikini or Brazilian at Chelsea Laine salon.
