I recently moved to Texas from California & was dreading having to find someone new to do my hair. I have had the same person doing it for the past 6 years! I am very picky & critical of my hair, as I am a platinum blonde. I have had horrible experiences in the past. So, after doing copious amounts of researching salons & Yelp reviews, I found Brenda! (Funny thing, she has the same name as my hair girl back in CA! I took it as a sign!) I called her immediately to ask some questions. I was so nervous for someone new to do my hair, but she was so friendly & answered all my questions. I felt at ease & made my appointment. She was also very accommodating with scheduling my appointment, as I do not have anyone to watch my young kids until husband gets home from work. The day of my appointment we chatted a few moments just make sure we were all on the same page & then she got started. She was quick & I was very happy with the results. I waited a few days to write my review so, I could really go over my hair & see how it looked. I'm still happy & my hair looks great! We moved out here to the Lake Conroe area from Houston four years ago and I have struggled to find a salon/hairstylist that could meet my needs. First on my list was color, then cut, and BUDGET! I found some that were good at the first two requirements in the Woodlands, but I almost had a stroke when I saw the bill! The ones I tried in Conroe that fit my budget, failed at the first two requirements. Brenda listens, does FANTASTIC color and cuts according to your requests. Her prices are reasonable and more closely to my budget. I most highly recommend her to anyone of any age. She has INTEGRITY and DETERMINATION like I've not seen in a long time. Her work ethic is beyond excellent. She is enthusiastic and strong. I'm in my 60's but she was recommended by my niece over half my age. I was referred to Brenda from a family member after moving to Spring. When you move to a new area it can be difficult trying to adjust especially when you're not familiar with anything. I previously tried two different salons and left each time unsatisfied...So I went ahead and booked an appointment with Brenda, and from the moment we met we instantly hit it off! She's in her own room so you can really get that one on one time. I have gone to the same woman for my hair for over 15 years, but recently moved. I was so nervous going to someone new, but Brenda was amazing. My color (highlights, lowlights and base color) all turned out perfect! The cut is also great. I like subtle layers, and most stylists do too much, but she really listened and did it exactly how I wanted it. She made the entire experience comfortable for me, and I could not be more thrilled with the results! Since moving back to Texas I have always had Lynna as my hairstylist. She moved to Uptown and I followed her because she is good. She cares about you and doesn't rush you out. She cares more about satisfying her clients rather than the cash money. A genuine good person who looks to make her clients satisfied with their cut. She is the best, once you go Lynna you never will go anywhere else. Her new Uptown salon is very nice. Private room without having to hear the airheads at other salons. Drama free. After 20 yrs of bad hair colors and bad hair cuts I finally found the sweetest most talented hair stylist to date! I'm almost afraid to tell you how good she is because it might mean her popularity will increase to a point that I will have to wait long for an appointment. But that wouldn't be fair to her . So Brenda here is hoping you'll still have an appointment when I need you because you truly are the best colorist I've come across in a very long time. In response to Martha's review, Martha wanted a $600 service for a Groupon. She knew when she purchased what was provided and attempted to manipulate me into much more than what she paid for. I have never in 35 years had a bad review!!!! Of course she post texts of me reacting to all the horrible things she said to me and she neglected to post the mean things she said!! She has also posted negative reviews on 7 other beauty service providers. Please take her negativity and discard it. I never even provided a service. Idk why Yelp allowed her post. read more

She's really easy to schedule with, and does an amazing job. I have blonde hair and she keeps up my partial highlights so great, I often have people ask if they're natural. I used a few groupons for the past couple years, using a different hair dresser each time. But ever since I went to Brenda I've been sticking with her, because she does a great job, and is so nice, too! Not way expensive either...I suspect she has a sliding scale kind of a deal, because I have not seen her prices written down anywhere. read more

After an exhaustive search for a new stylist, I finally found someone who listened to what I wanted to do with my hair, and made it even better than I imagined! She is very talented at what she does. Love my hair color. It makes me look ten years younger and it's so natural looking that it looks sun kissed not highlighted. I am older and women my age often stop me and ask who does my color. Brenda Kuzma is the best! She takes time to really get to know her clients and what they want not just that day in her chair, but longer term.
