Smiling and happy to see you. Always kind and concerned. She listens to every word you have to say. She is leaving Brenham to relocate to be with her family and to teach other future doctors. They have been blessed to have her as a mentor. Brenham will be void an excellent doctor such as Dr. McDonald. I recently found out Dr McDonald was listed in my network again so I made an appointment to re-establish her as my PCP. Unfortunately I had to miss that appointment because I was unexpectedly called into work. When I called to make another appointment I was told someone would have to call me back. Eventually I got a call from someone in Dr McDonalds office saying "the doctor will only agree to see you again if you're serious about treating your condition" and then mentioned my recently missed appointment along with a few missed appointments in the last 2 years. I'm not too sure how many appointments I could have missed when Dr McDonald wasn't even my doctor but what i learned from this experience is Dr McDonald must think she is the only doctor around. I'll be more than happy to take my family's medical needs elsewhere rather than putting up with her condescending BS, who does she think she is anyway?

When we were finally seen the doctor had no idea her staff were acting the way they were. Which shows me the weak line of communication between them. We arrived at 8:50 am and didn't get seen until 11. To me that is not ok if it wasn't for my grandmother and the way I was raised I would have turned that place upside down. The level of disrespect the staff had was unbelievable. We will not be coming back and I advise anyone else to run for this place.

Seems they get students from HBU whom I probably joked with too much. Everyone was super friendly and they took time for my initial interview and exam. VERY much a Christian theme in the clinic and very much like a small town doctor's office. She was able to fill my Rx and I bought some Probiotics and vitamins from her. I saw one review on here. that was just not correct so it cost me to write this review. They are amazing and I highly recommend them. By the way, there is a charge to enroll with them but if you ever come back, the price is much slower like a doctor visit. Totally understandable. This is the kind of doctor you want in times like this.
