I asked the person that answered the phone if they had a camera that would save the video to my computer and I was told "If you know what you are doing you can connect anything to your computer". So I asked again if they carried a camera that already had this capability and I was then told "why dont you find your cameras somewhere else" and they hung up on me. This was completely unwarranted. I called JRS Spy Store (a competitor) and asked the exact same questions. This new company was very professional and helpful. They breifly explained wifi cameras to me and how they work.

The install was done in about a day, even with having to dig some trenches (We have a big property)! The image quality from the new Brightside camera's is so much better than our old, system! We even get notified when someone, or a car, crosses a line on our driveway or property!!! Because we can't see our driveway or front yard easily from our house, we love getting notified that a package is being delivered, or that someone has pulled into our driveway! The office manager, Jessica, does not return calls and if she does, which is months later she is rude and unprofessional. They blatantly lied to us when we signed our contract with them. That is NOT ok! They are next to impossible to get out for service if you have an issue. I tried doing the right thing by using a newer small business versus a bigger more established one but now we are paying the price. After my initial review shown below, I wrote to "alwaysthere@adt.com" based on the ADT business comments on another social media site. I recommend you contact "alwaysthere@adt.com" FIRST before filing a complaint on social media. You will get a much better response from this team than calling 1-800 ADT ASAP, which in my opinion is a waste of your time. This ADT social media team out of Jacksonville did a great job of resolving my issues. Within a few days, and over several emails, this office coordinated with the local Orlando ADT business site at Shadowridge Drive and rectified my situation. They issued a credit to my account for the "fuel surcharge" since I was not informed of this add-on in advance when I was told there would be no charge for the on-site visit. Kudos to Carla B. of the Jacksonville office for diligently working my issues, coordinating back-and-forth with me, and contacting the appropriate people to resolve my situation. Special thanks also to the area manager, Chris, who came out personally and delivered the tool key and provided answers to all of my questions and concerns. He even went through the Google app with me to demonstrate other options associated with my battery issue if I should experience this problem in the future. I increased my overall review of ADT to three stars based on the assistance of these two employees. The effort put forth by Carla B. and Chris made up for the frustration experienced with the installation and follow up of the Google doorbell camera.
