I came across this place while in town for some meetings. First impression when you open the doors is this is a sports bar. Dart boards, pool table and 2 different bars on opposite ends. We sat down and was immediately greeted. Ordered some drinks and were brought out very quick. The waitress kept checking on us to see if we were ready to order food. We were treated horribly we went for a pool tournament and got kicked out because of winning every time.

Went to see JessiaSax my favorite local musician, but this might not have been the best venue for live music. The "stage" is right next to the pool tables and the TVs (because it is a sports bar) were on the entire time she did her set. There are two bar areas, and service was good but it was very obvious that several people were over-served. Ordered chicken tacos, not realizing that they were Chico's tacos, swimming in a red sauce. Not good. As previously noted, the food is overpriced, but you really don't go there to eat. Limited draft selection. The new manager is having a summer concert series. I think that a better effort to showcase the musicians would make it more enjoyable. read more

It is a fine place. I am posting a poor review because the day bartender (Elizabeth) is really is not hospitable. I spent good money there today. $49.33 to be exact. I get it, I drink a little too much. I had 3 double grey goose within an hour and a half (WHICH SHE UNDER SERVED ME thus 3). I was polite and not drunk and ate some of the tacos which are fabulous. In any case, she was inhospitable from the moment I went in at 11:09. Then tells me that after three drinks, I was not going to be served again. I said OK fine. I paid my tab and left. I even left her the 18% tip. I went back an hour and change later and just as a test asked her for a single shot and a seltzer. She came up with some bullshit that she spoke to the owner and was told to cut me off. Now that's just not true. I would avoid this place while Elizabeth is working. She claimed to be the manager and I just went someplace else. The bar tender B or Bee that I had Sunday and Monday was great. Im sorry to write a book. I appreciate commentary from ownership. This lady made me feel it necessary to share with others. Im a tourist from NY in Elpaso on family business. This is not how you treat guest who spend good money on their time off. Great location for watching college football. It's mostly a TAMU fan club but it has two bars with the larger seating area for Aggies and the smaller bar for other teams! Longhorns are teased but no malice meant. At least not towards me! read more

To be concise, this place sucks. The only grace I'll give them is it was late afternoon on a Friday and maybe they were in between shifts. Great place to watch sporting events. It's my favorite spot because one can actually hear the game as opposed to watching it and listening to music. Haven't been here in over a year. Was never really happy with the food, service or cleanliness. Place kinda smelled bad. I decided to check them out again since the reopening. Most local places took the Covid shut down to remodel and clean up their act. Well, so did Brew. The place was clean, smelled good, better lit and new flooring. I was impressed. Service was great. Grabbed a table at the bar and our waiter was right on it the whole time. Much better than the past. We started with the calamari strips and sweet chili coconut wings. Both were a little disappointing. Calamari is food service supplied but still tasty. They come with a cocktail sauce with quite a bit of horseradish. Not the norm but not bad. The wings were very strange. When picking one up, everything basically fell off the bones. Very odd texture, mostly breading. It was such a weird experience, we each had one and then pushed them aside. Not confident in what they actually were. We also got the Tia shrimp and Korean steak tacos. Plenty of meat and shrimp, good flavors and sauce. My only suggestion would be to grill or flat top the tortillas for a bit. They were cold and raw straight from the package. Historically I get treated pretty well here. Not sure what happened the night I stopped in. Apparently everyone else was worthy of getting served drinks in glasses but we got ours in paper cups. There were plenty of clean glasses. I would like to add that the bar was not busy. Above that we were the only black people in the bar. I didn't feel like we were treated the same as everyone else. Extremely disappointed. Words cannot express how disrespected I felt. read more

I'm not sure if this is the accurate name of this restaurant. I think it's called "Brew!" but either way, this is a very good restaurant with an excellent beer selection. We went here to watch a UFC fight. They charged a reasonable $8 cover at the door and it was somewhat crowded but there was still some seating available. Our server, Kristen, was right there to take our drink orders and came back quickly with some great beers - Harpoon IPA and Samuel Adams Winter Lager. Later, she brought out samples of some beers to see if we wanted to commit to a whole pint. Our food came out fast, but it was kind of odd that everything was served in Styrofoam containers with plastic forks. Maybe they thought they would run out of plates and silverware with the UFC fight? Nevertheless, the food was terrific. The nachos are outstanding and have a good kick to them. They come with a spicy nacho cheese sauce, ground beef, green onions, and jalapenos. The chicken wings are to die for! The garlic parmesan wings are super crunchy and tasty! Finally, the fish tacos are excellent. Fresh grilled fish, cabbage, pico de gallo, and some sort of pink sauce on the side which is very good. Kristen kept checking in on us, not being intrusive, but knew exactly when we were ready for another drink, water, the check, etc. As the place got more crowded, the staff pulled out extra chairs and tables, making sure everyone was taken care of. I've been to bars showing UFC fights where the staff gets overwhelmed and not everyone gets served. This was not the case here. Everyone got service, even when it got close to the main event and it was standing room only. If you happen to be in El Paso, I highly recommend checking out this gem! read more

Just walked out the door, cancelled our lunch order. We usually go there for lunch and a few beers after golf, tab always around $130 -$140. Today, we waited for 20 mins for a beer, ordered lunch and seated in view of the kitchen door. Our server, who also said the she was the manager, brought paper trays and forks and never came back for another 20 mins. Finally, a second beer arrived and when asked about food she told us to 'be patient, the kitchen is very busy'. There were 18 people in the bar and no-one eating; no food came thru the kitchen door in 40 minutes. Finally lost patience with the rude service and cancelled everything. Hope she enjoyed the $1.50 tip on the $45 tab; never going back there again. The Riviera looking good for Friday lunch, they are respectful. read more

We tried going to Magic Bistro, they were closed so we went here & were a little hesitant. We were pleasantly surprised. It's your typical pub with dart boards and other types of game machines. We were hoping to watch the Blackhawks vs Tampa hockey, it was being shown - another plus. The waitress was very friendly, & customer focused. She immediately took our drink order & food order. Another plus! The calamari was breaded in strips which we had not seen before. They were quite tasty! My husband ordered wings. They were all legs & no wings - another plus! A side salad was not on the menu, yet the waitress said they would be happy to make one for him. The chicken Cobb salad was quite decent for a pub, & the blue cheese dressing was thick like we enjoy it. They have a great selection of beers. Wednesday night is pint special night. The margarita was served in what I call a bowl with plenty of salt on the rim. Not the best margarita in the area, but not bad either. read more

Sucks!! Second time here. Came today for Raiders game. Our bartender let our food sit out 20 mins in kitchen after we had to ask for it she dropped it off PRACTICALLY ran off (we might want to ask for napkins)... PLASTIC UTENSILS (ate in... seriously? ?) came to watch the game. This place is beyond a dive joint but doesn't have five joint prices. Lame! You can tell other football fans are equally disappointed in the quality staff takes in treating their patrons. Don't waste your time or money. Heard it USED to be a cool place. Simply put - Brew is a great sports bar with good bar food. They have an ample selection of food, we ordered the Texas burger and the lemon pepper boneless wings. We also ordered the kettle chips and a couple of red beers. All of the food we ordered was pretty good, the wings were a bit dry but good nonetheless. Meh, not much to say about this place. They have beer, alcohol, and food. Food is meh, beer is okay, prices are meh, alcohol is good when they have their specials. What saves this place is the wait staff. Most of the girls are super friendly and remember you when you come in. Our drinks never go empty and the channels always get changed when we want to watch a particular sport. I can get a mediocre fried food anywhere in an Paso along with a better customer service. Girls are great but but every men bartender I've had as a server was rude. High fiving a drunk and belligerent guy about whom a woman is complaining about is not a way to make me come back ,neither is taking 30 minutes to close the tab on one person out of a whole table when they are trying to leave with a smirk saying "il get her at the end"...if someone is not a people person they shouldnt work at the bar and management should recognize it. besides food and drink people go out to get a good service and this place is not worth my money read more

We stopped in El Paso for the night on our way home from Santa Fe, and had one of the best meals of our entire vacation. The food is outstanding!! We started with chips and queso which was very good. I had the fish tacos (grilled cod, cabbage slaw & Sriracha Ranch on corn tortillas). I have eaten lots of fish tacos all over Texas. These were the best I have ever had. The perfect balance of flavors - three very generously stuffed corn tortillas. My husband had the Brew Burger. When they say 1/2 a pound, they mean it! Char-grilled to perfection!! He said the flavor was excellent - he also added cheese and bacon. Friendly and attentive service too. Jordan was our waitress and did a great job keeping our drinks full and chatting when time allowed. We offered our compliments to the chef and explained what we liked about our meals - which was everything - and asked Jordan to please let the chef know how much we enjoyed our meal. A few minutes later Mark (I think) the owner stopped by our table for a visit. We repeated our praise and found out that he recently opened a second location in El Paso and tonight's chef was his kitchen manager (for both locations). Came here while visiting family in El Paso. The place is what you would think of when you image a sports bar. Pool tables, darts, etc. the food is bar food. The prices are good and the beer is cheap. Not a great experience. I'm working here from out of town, just got off of work and really wanted a beer. I asked for a sample and the bartender looked at me like I was crazy and it took almost ten minutes to get it. I liked it (Brooklyn lager) and ordered a 22oz glass and then it took almost another ten minutes again. Meanwhile she was chatting with the regulars. A guy came in right after I got my beer and waited, I'll let you guess hire long... Not at all. Pretty good draft beer selection and good specials throughout the week. Try the Franziskaner on draft- it's a great bargain really- German Hefeweizen with slight hint of banana. The wings are really good- best in town! Other than that the food is average. The service is average. Lots of TVs, pool, shuffleboard. Good bar for the area. read more

This place has poor service and nasty food. This was our first time there and nobody was around to show us to a table or anything. We decided on a table that was around an area that had a decent amount of people. We waited about 20+ mins to get our drinks order taken. It wasnt even that busy, If it was I would of completely understood. We ordered wings, fried jalapenos, pickles and mushrooms. We waited another 25+ minutes to get our food. To be waiting this long, I was expecting some decent food. Not at all. The wings tasted like they were fried in 3 day old oil. The fried pickles, mushrooms, and jalapeños tasted like pure batter with salt. I didnt even feel like drinking my beer due to the nasty taste of the food. The only good thing are all the tvs they have. Good thing we came to check it out before we reserved a table for the UFC fight. Never again will I visit this place. read more

Went to brew on sunday afternoon to watch the packers game. Just after halftime the game was turned off as the general manager reported "the game is a blowout. No one wants to watch it" in spite of many complaints. The gm finally said " you can watch it but you cant listen to it" and put another games volume on. We had just bought more drinks and had been eating. Will choose to spend my money at a different sports bar. As we were leaving a staff member informed us many had complained but apparently the gm was a cardinals fan and not a packers fan. Will not be back. No customer service. read more

To the OWNER: Just wanted to let you know "Power-trip-Sara" didn't appreciate my cleaning the beer and drink spills off the shuffle board game. She even got in my face about putting a coat of wax on it to help protect the finish. Perhaps you could educate Sara on how it's more important to keep the patrons from setting their drinks on the shuffle board table as opposed to bitching out patrons who have a common interest in preserving a classic shuffle board table top. Very bad service. A server was standing right by the door when we arrived, she did not so much as acknowledge us. Instead, she walked away. We proceeded to seat ourselves, at the only available table which was large enough to accommodate our party of four. She then came to our table to tell us that we could not have that table as it was taken by other clients who were outside smoking in the patio. But, the table was clean, no glasses, dishes and showed no trace of it being taken. Needles to say, we walked out. And will never return. read more

Great little sports bar to relax at. The food is nothing to write home about, but the beer selection is above average and the service is good. When I was there on Friday night it was fairly empty, so I'm not sure what it's like when it's running at capacity but it was pleasant enough. Reasonable pricing too. read more
