Came here for an emergency extraction for my wisdom tooth. Just wow I called at 7am and the person who answered was amazingly friendly and helpful! She got me an appt immediately and I was there in the hour. They took my insurance and helped with me a great payment plan so if you have tooth pain and are worried about the money...don't be they will work with and it's really not that bad. After yesterday I would NEVER set foot in Brewer Dental Service again! I started going there because of Kevin Brewer, and everything was first rate, I also appreciated they could Always get you in on short notice. I showed up yesterday for my annual scheduled cleaning, my regular hygienist was no longer there but OK. the gentleman replacing her immediately tried to upsell me on expensive X-rays despite the fact they were done the year previous and I have never done them before every year, I declined after much fussing, he then immediately, very roughly began to rub my head and neck and then forcefully stick his hands in my mouth and press on my gums,tongue,etc. I complained and he replied that what he is trained to do Despite the fact that in going there for over 10 years Nobody had ever done that to me before. Then he started to polish my teeth and began coughing constantly and wouldnt stop talking, he told me had a bad case of the "crud" he caught from his son and could not shake it! he said he previously worked for the prison system and they would never of let him work while that sick but that he had to come in for BDC. I immediately pulled the plug on the whole thing , and went to the desk and they did not charge me BUT when I tried to reschedule my cleaning the girls informed me they were over 9 months out to schedule! So much for 'same day service'. I noticed that most of the rooms/stalls were empty so I guess they have real problems, I wont be one of them anymore!!!! read more

After 5 years as a client at Brewer Dental, I am switching to a  one dentist practice. Brewer has some good staff and dentists but is a factory, loses dental hygienists frequently, and the staff attitude is mean. It is pervasive even with the dentists. Unnecessary services are pushed on the client as well as CONSTANT marketing requests so they can be "best of Billings". Poor attention to detail was the last straw when the WRONG side of my mouth was numbed for a cavity on the OTHER side beforeI could point out the error. No apology.  Done. Recommend that others choose a single practitioner practice, not this factory setting. read more

Going to Brewer Dental was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. After losing my flipper with two false teeth on it, I made a three hour drive to the only dentist open on a Saturday that could fit me in. On the phone I was assured they had experience creating this type of flipper and it would be covered by my insurance. When I made the two hour drive for the second time to pick up my flipper I was horrified.The item did not fit the roof of my mouth as it should, and the dentist tried telling me it wasn't supposed to rather than admit a mistake. The teeth did not fit where they were supposed to, and looked very fake. The acrylic part was so thick that I couldn't properly speak, and the dentist told me to JUST NOT SPEAK. After four hours of what seemed like every employee there trying to get me to give up and accept the piece, (and the lights being shut off on me) I was flat out told this was the best they can do. I took the flipper to other dentists who assured me the work was unacceptable and I should decline paying since I was told it couldn't be done any better. read more

I made an appointment because i, had a chip in my bottom denture they knew i had medicaid unbeknownst to me medicaid covers NOTHING with dentures they didnt inform me of this until the first lady said easy fix a man came in said make new bottom set and another lady was pulling them apart i said no dont do that she said thats what dr. Ross would do crack in half and fix THEN they told me 294$ to repair and medicaid covers nothing at all i got home and called the first lady that had said easy fix she said "oh no i understand what your saying but she was pushing them together" a boldface lie i immediately called and filed a complaint with medicaid cause they shouldnt be able to charge medicaid for appt they knew what i was coming for and it wouldnt be covered scamming medicaid for useless appt AND broke my dentures completely now they owe me im suing them read more

I'm always so thankful for Brewer! I've lived in Bozeman for a couple years and whenever we come home to see family I'll get my teeth done. Dr Clark and Cheyenne are my favorite duo! Knowing that the solution to my dental problems could only be solved by extensive dental implants, I attended the "Implant Seminar" sponsored by the Brewer Dental Center. During that seminar, the owners promised all attendees $500 off each implant. This was repeated several times and was an unconditional $500-off for attending the seminar. There are several witnesses to these statements, including employees at Brewer Dental Center. After the seminar, I scheduled an evaluation where I was provided a proposed treatment plan and an estimated cost of $17,013.25 which included the $500-off (insurance would only cover about $1200.00 of that cost). When I researched dental implants, there were 2 major complaints: high pressure sales tactics and price increases after the process had been initiated and there was no way to turn back. With that in mind, I scheduled another consultation with Brewer Dental Center for the purpose of obtaining a verbal commitment on their cost estimate, absent an unforeseen complication. The true colors of Brewer Dental Center were revealed. First, they would not honor the $500-off previously promised because I had Delta Dental Insurance which set a maximum cost that they could charge, hence they would only give $200-off each implant. The total cost of the implant surgery was now increased to $19,929.25 (a $2,916.00 increase) and Brewer Dental would not even give me a verbal commitment on that amount - it was only an estimate. Pressuring them that I was promised $500-off and why they would not even verbally commit to their estimate, they got annoyed and gave me about 30-days to initiate treatment or they would not honor any discounts. Feeling cheated and that Brewer Dental was not being honest or sincere, I decided to write them a letter explaining the situation and offering them a way out while saving face. I approached the situation as a simple misunderstanding thereby providing an easy way to resolve the situation. I honestly expected a phone call from them agreeing to abide by their original estimate and promises and allowing me to wait until after the holidays before initiating treatment. Instead I was suprised to receive a letter from the Administrator explaining the decision of the Management and Ownership. Brewer Dental Center claimed that they offered "$500.00 off the undiscounted price of implants" and that "discounts cannot be stacked" and that their agreement on a maximum allowable price with an insurance company (as a Delta Dental provider) constituted "an existing discount". Whether or not that is true or their policy, it was not what was communicated as an incentive at their seminar - They apparently left out a few minor details in their sales pitch. But, if that is not enough, the remainder of their letter was shocking to say the least. Brewer Dental Center suggested that I "seek dental care elsewhere" and that continued dental care was "subject to your locating another dentist". But not to leave me out in the cold, Brewer Dental Center graciously offered to provide me with dental care for "urgent or emergency matters (for) 30 days from today". I would suggest that the friendly atmosphere portrayed by Brewer Dental Center is a simply a mask that conceals their true ruthless nature. They are probably good dentists, but in my opinion, honesty and integrity seems to be lacking in this practice. read more

If I could give this place a zero stars, I would! Took my kids to them because they offer convenient hours and they are kid friendly. I was presented with a treatment plan, and assured that my medical benefits would cover the treatment that was set up. Half way through the treatments, they are now telling me that I owe $900.00 and I still haven't finished what we'd planned to do. After looking around, their prices are 3x what other dental offices charge. They will not honor the plan that is given or back up their employees. Dishonest and bad business. A friend recommended we go here, I attended today in the heights after calling yesterday morning for an appointment this was my first appointment to a dentist here in Montana after living here for a year. Long story short, a root canal on a tooth gone bad and got infected and my worst nightmare came true. I had to have it pulled. First time in my life ever getting a tooth pulled. Literally took 2 seconds and I was done after being numb which was the worst part cause I took forever. Didn't feel a single thing. I have always been scared to get even my wisdom teeth pulled but seeing how painless, quick and easy it was. I'll definitely be back to get those done aswell now that I'm not scared. I had Dr. Low, and Courtney who were both wonderful and such a delight. She was fun, and had a good sense of humor. Neither one of them beat around the bush. Highly recommend. read more

when they say call in the morning have you in by afternoon they weren't joking. I had a tooth pulled and they made it easy and fast. So I called today and asked how much a crown would be as I have no dental insurance. They said I could not get a quote because they do not know what is going on. I would have to come in and have xrays and cleaning in order to have this quote. I asked her the price of the cleaning and xrays. She said $490 I told her that I could get a cleaning in Cody, Wyoming for $55 with a free xray! I told her that I wasn't about to be paying for 3 buildings and someones vacations! What a rip off! I made an appt for an annual exam for my 5yr old granddaughter (who has been a return patient). She needed to see the dentist for a toothache and an exam . The soonest appt that was available was 2weeks from the day I called. On the day of the appt. I called the office to notify them that her aunt would be bringing her to her appt because I wasn't able to. They said they would need a " temp guardian form " filled out and notorized before she could bring her to the appt(which was 10 min from that time). They also informed me that the same form would need to be signed / notorized for me to bring her(since I'm a grandparent). I told them I have court documentation appointing me as her guardian and that her actual parents weren't involved in her life. I feel the attempt to make it to the scheduled appt itself was a complete hassle. When I made the appt I should've been informed and the paperwork sent to me for completion days before the appt. ( not informed ten min before the appt). This office is a joke! It's a dentist appointment for an annual exam... that's all! I will be changing dentists for my other four children and my granddaughter. All this office did was waste my time!! As a return patient, it shouldn't be so difficult to keep a scheduled appt. the office had the forms signed once but chose not to keep the appt. because now they needed "updated" forms since the documents they had were expired this month. It was almost requiring an act of Congress just to keep her appt for a toothache. I wouldn't recommend this office at all unless u don't mind them wasting your time on pointless paperwork or dealing with unorganized and rude reception. Once (or if) u manage to get pass the reception and pointless forms to fill out.... the dentist she managed to see once before was very good. My least favorite thing is going to the dentist ! In fact, I think I'd rather deliver a baby than go to the dentist. I have found my experiences at Brewer Dental to be extremely stress free. They will work with you about your "fears," and your "finances" . They are extremely accommodating relative to appointment times (it's easy to get in whenever YOU can get there) and their hygienists, office staff, and dentists are top notch ! Sorry to say, I will NEVER go back after the last 2 years of absolutely terrible service and subpar dental work. The worst part is that they could care less. Brewer Dental does a good job of presenting a friendly welcoming atmosphere. They do well with routine services. But beware of having them do extensive and expensive procedures. They are very practiced at up selling and rushing you to a decision. Be sure you understand the costs and how much the insurance will pay BEFORE you start. Don't hesitate to bargain. Brewer dental wanted to charge me an estimated amount of 2,742.00 for the SAME dental care wicks dental wants to charge me for 235.00... Brewer couldn't exactly tell me how much my insurance would cover which is bull. Wicks had the paper ready for me with pretty much the exact amount of insurance coverage by the time I was out of my exam and teeth cleaning. Let's just say I left brewer in tears wondering how I was going to pay for that my car and college. I left wicks blown away by how wonderful I was treated. read more

DO NOT GO TO BREWER DENTAL CENTER UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE BEING LIED TO AND BEING OVERCHARGED!!!! They lie about the treatment you need and only tell you what's really going on when they get you in their chair. Then they offer to do partial dental work to see if it's going to fix the problem and if it doesn't then you have to come back for more work... which just means more money for them. They obviously don't communicate with each other on treatments or bother to check notes that other people have made. I'd rather have good dental care than free cookies and coffee! read more

I am extremely disappointed with the reception here. I have been calling dentists all morning to get quotes for my elderly dad to get a broken tooth pulled. I asked the same questions I did at the other two dental offices, gave them the same information and the gal treated me like I was of a lower status than she. Her attitude towards asking prices and why they were charging for xrays when another dentist said it wasn't necessary "it's the law." Well, no, it's not if another dentist says only the exam is the law and you all usually offer free consults. No free consult if you know what work needs to be done, corrected herself that it is their policy to do xrays. The part that got me was when I brought up that I regularly go to them and they, as preferred providers foe my insurance, charge me less, can they match that rate. She got almost angry. I told her that it is sad that the people with insurance get treated better than our elderly on Medicare that insurance is not provided and the difference in price is, literally, his food for a month. It was her mightier than attitude and snide comments, I am absolutely distgusted with how she treated me on the phone and glad it was me and not my dad, needing help, that got that. read more
