Portion sizes are good. Heaps of chilli, sour cream and cheese were served over my bratwurst and brioche. I'm not a good pork eater, but their 100% meet dog, made with a beef and pork mix, was tender, delicious and made on site with locally sourced meats. It's all locally sourced or made on-site in fact, even down the veggie hotdog. The beer selection is wide, bottles from all sorts of craft breweries (large and small), and the brother/owner who served me was hopeful to get some of the really local beers in soon. The chilled atmosphere meant I ended up chatting not only with the owners, but other customers as we ate, and I must say it was a great experience. 10/10

The regular is pretty darn large, so large I thought it was the foot long so I was happy. I got it with grilled onions and cheese. I took my first bite and realized, it is not spicy, it is just nice and hot, right off the grill! Whoops! My mistake, should have known! Even though the sausage wasn't spicy, it was as advertised, nice and hot. The sausage was very good and was loaded with onions and a slice of cheese on a tasty bun. I haven't tired the hot dogs yet so I can't comment. There's a good variety of sides including onion rings, fries, chilli, and sweet potato fires. These are great for just a light snack on their own. I cannot comment on the pudding menu as I haven't tried it. The general atmosphere of the establishment is that of a bar rather than a sit-down restaurant. Food is served on a tray and comes wrapped so you can take it away if you want and there is a wide variety of drinks on offer. However cutlery is available on request and the staff are very friendly, so one can enjoy a more formal meal if they want. Overall it's a very good establishment and there are many deals like lunchtime specials or 2 for 1 burgers on offer, which you can take advantage of. Otherwise there are full English breakfasts, toast (with eggs, beans, etc), hot dogs, pulled pork and chicken burgers, filled baps, wraps, soups, jacket potatoes, chips (with any of ham, egg, sausages and bacon, beans and cheese), cakes and ice creams. And of course a full range of non-alcoholic beverages, including proper tea in mugs. When it's really packed (usually on Wednesday evenings) they have a more limited menu. Friendly staff and good service - they give you a number with your order, and call it out when it's ready.
