Clearly the only other person to review this terrible place has some kind of personal relationship…read morewith the doctor because this place is awful. Dr Delgiorno is just there for the money. Billing you in every way possible. Go get labs before you appointment and they'll still do an A1C in the office so they can bill you again. Wear a pump or a CGM and prepare to get billed even more. They will bill you just to look at your pump and CGM data. But won't tell you this in the office. You'll just keep getting bills months later. Nothing they do in the office is covered in the "office visit" bill. And they will strongly recommend repeatedly that you should come back more frequently. So they can bill you more. Also if you work an actual job it's gonna take you 3 months to even get an appointment unless you like wasting your PTO days. Type 1 Diabetics beware!!!! He's not an insightful doctor. He doesn't listen. He's insensitive. Low blood sugars happen for type one diabetics. It's part of the disease. He scolded me like a child when reviewing lows on my CGM. I'm not 5 years old. It was completely uncalled for, unnecessary, and disrespectful. He doesn't know about any of the new insulin pump or CGM tech. Sends incorrect prescriptions. And on top of it all his office staff is so rude!

After an appointment with my family doctor back in June and he wanted bloodwork done, I received a…read morephone call from his nurse telling me he reviewed my results and wanted me to call Dr. Charles DelGiorno immediately to schedule an emergency appointment. She gave me the number and specified only to schedule to see him, not anyone else they may say is the soonest. (If you've read my other reviews, you'll see my review of my family Dr and had been with him forever, no matter which office location he worked at and when he says jump, I say how high, lol.) So, I called the number and got this long automatic introduction (apparently their office had just been located to this new location so it was an explanation recording before you push the number you need). Anyway, the girl that answered was super duper friendly and automatically tells you her name is Nicole. I love that. That's usually the first thing I ask bc I want to know who I'm talking to to before every conversation in case they decide to get rude, lol. I'm just that way. So, I told her exactly what my dr's nurse said and as soon as she put my name & dob, she was able to see all my information on her computer and confirm it. I didn't have to do anything! No getting fifty million questions, no getting my insurance card out, even though I'm a new patient, I mean this was so easy!!! Then she says ok, Can you come in the day after tomorrow? I'm like, REALLY??? WHOA!!!! I was completely ready to hear the conversation to go totally differently: like you get "well, the soonest we have is.......yaddah yaddah yaddah". NOPE!! Didn't happen! Now, let me tell you about how thorough Dr DelGiorno was (is bc I'm still seeing him & will continue to!). He spent an hour with me! Very personable, listened to me even when I ranted on, lol. (I'm Italian, I talk a lot, fast & with my hands). Again, he listened, answered all my questions, sent prescriptions over electronically, walked me out to the desk where I met Nicole in person (she's amazing) & had her give me a kit to check my blood sugar at home. She set it all up for me and showed me step by step how to use it & Doc said, see you in 6 weeks unless you have any problems before that, call & Nicole will get you in. Hello?!!! Now this is why my family dr specifically sent me to him. He knows I like old school doctors who treat you like their own and not the ones who are in & out after making you wait and don't care. I'm telling you, if you need an endocrinologist, go see Dr DelGiorno!!! 5 stars all the way!!!!!

I started with Dr. Nigam Patel to treat my osteoporosis and found that I could not understand what…read morehe was saying since he talks very fast and with a heavy accent. I had asked him to speak a littler slower so that I could understand what he was saying. He recommended that I take Alendronate 70 mg tablets weekly. I was on the generic brand of Fosamax approximately a year and half when I started to have groin and shoulder joint pain. I thought I had arthristis in those areas but it did not show up on the x-ray through Rothman. I was sent to PT for therapy and it wasn't until then that I discovered maybe there is something else going on because PT helped in a minimal way. I went to Dr. Patel to inform him of my joint pain and said that it could be the Alendronate because it states joint pain as a side effect. He was adamant that it was not the drug. I asked him how long was I on this drug and he said a year and half. I asked how long will I be on it, and he held up five fingers and said five years. I felt hopeless because he didn't even say let's proceed with some blood work to rule out other conditions. I left his office, looked up another rheumatologist with outstanding reviews and a woman, mind you. I made an appointment with her, gave her my information, and she said right away to stop the Alendronate. She said that it causes joint pain and other side effects. She ordered blood work to rule out autoimmune disorders. My blood showed a clean bill of health. I did stop the drug but I have to wait until it is out of my body which may take months. I cannot swim, play golf, or use weights above my head and sleeping is unbearable. I am suffering and have been taking Motrin along with Tylenol. I walk five days a week for five miles with friends and do my PT exercises based on my condition. I am typing this to let other individuals know that they should stay clear of Dr. Patel. He should have shown compassion and help me in my time of need. He brushed me off. Well, I'm brushing him off and have dropped his services. I am now pledging allegiance to my new doctor who is so compassionate that she couldn't understand how he kept me on this drug that is still causing me pain. I am not on any medication at the age of 67. I am in good health and in fact more of an athlete. This has been debilitating for me. I suggest you seek out someone else to help you in your time of need because this doctor lacks experience, compassion, etc. Good luck!

I got there at 8:05. At 8:35, the nurse came out and informed us that the doctor was running 10 to 15 minutes late. I told her I could not stay and she asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no I would go to another doctor. If I can get myself up an hour early, stop at the office to get my x-rays and get to my appointment 10 minutes early, the doctor should be able to get there on time. His time is not more important than mine. I do not recommend making an appointment with this doctor, as he has no consideration for his patient. however, I would like to say that the staff was very, very nice and very competent
