After a horrible experience with a local gyno (where she convinced me that I was depressed -I'm not, it's called PMS- and needed to be on happy pills), I've been a bit skeptical of docs. After reading Julia's review, however, I decided Dr. P sounded like my kinda woman, "someone I would love to have a beer with?" say no more. So I scheduled my appointment on Friday and they were able to put me in on Monday. I showed up at 3:30 (my assigned time), fearing I'd end up spending my entire afternoon there. Within 10 minutes I was seen by a nurse and within another 5 Dr. P showed up. She's just awesome. Totally conversational, quick to put you at ease, thorough... We talked about my medical history, she ran through a few exams, prescribed some medicine for my nagging cough, and sent me off for some blood work. I was out of the office by 4:15! She also referred me to a new gyno and dentist. All in all, Dr. P is terrific, thanks Yelp.

The billing office decided to stop sending me a bill after two months of sending a bill then sent me to collections with no notice. I can't pay a bill I didn't receive. When I calle to talk to them they said that I would be getting bills from a collection agency. Really why did you not send me a bill from your office. Way to be really good at doing your job geniuses! Do not use this office unless you want to deal with collection agencies and put your credit in danger because the office is to lax to send you a bill.

From the very beginning, the office had a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. The doctors and staff have consistently been on point with everything they've told me, and I've always felt like I'm in capable hands, unlike other doctors whom I will not name. What really stands out is the attitude of the people who work there. They don't seem to carry ill feelings toward anyone, no matter how difficult a situation or patient might be. There's a level of patience and professionalism that you don't always see in medical offices, and it makes a huge difference. Another thing I appreciate is that they never push me into anything I don't want to do or have done. At the same time, they also won't simply agree to something just because a patient asks for it. Their decisions clearly come from a place of genuine concern for what's in the patient's best interest rather than money, prestige, or checking boxes. Even if I lived far away, I'd still make the trip to come here. As long as I'm not across the country, I'll keep coming back. After so many years I tell myself that we are among his favorite patients, but it's probably how he makes all his patients feel. My son started with Dr Mike's brother Dr Jay at birth and continued until he aged out of going to a pediatrician (which was a surprisingly sad day for me!) and now he too is doing great with Dr Mike.
